Qin Ran grew up in the countryside with her grandma. She was just a year old when her father and mother divorced.

Qin Ran went to the platform then she spoke showing neither humility or arrogance but with respectful manner.


"Hello classmates, I am Qin Ran. This is my second day here as your classmate but I have heard a rumor circulating around. I am not sure how this rumor started as I just moved in Yuncheng and doesn't know anyone here. I am also sure that not so many people know me.


However, I am not blaming anyone here if your judgement of me as a person is affected. I am also sure that you all are fair and would like to know the truth."


Qin Ran paused and passed a piece of paper to each of her classmates.


"As you all can see, this is a copy of my entrance test result. I have requested this to the principal. This is also and authenticated copy if you look at it closely. This shows that I did not came from the back door. I passed the entrance exam fair and square.


But you heard one thing right. My stepfather did collect some favor just so I can take the exam. The principal allowed it with a condition that I get 90% and above result." Qin Ran lifted up her hand to show another piece of paper.


"Here is the agreement of my stepfather and the principal."


Qin Ran took a few moments to look at her classmates.


Everyone was very quite, looking at her examination result, 98%. The highest in the entrance exam history that they know if was 95% but their classmate's Qin Ran result is this. What kind of mind is this. Why is she their classmate then?


Qin Ran, as though hearing their minds, replied.


"I am your classmate now because although I had high result, I was still late and couldn't be with the Experimental or S classes. But it is alright. I like this class and would like to get along well with everyone."


Qin Ran then made a respectful gesture. "Classmates, I will be in your care for the next three years, please take care of me."


"Classmate Qin Ran, you don't have to worry. We will take care of you!" came a voice from the back row. It was from Mu Cheng, a second generation heir to the Mu conglomerate but was too unruly to be placed on the higher sections.


"Yes classmate Qin Ran. We didn't believe the rumor in the first place." another voice seconded. The rest of her classmates either murmured their agreement or nodded their heads.


Who knows what is truly in their hearts. But at least, at the moment, everyone is willing to give her a chance to get along well with everyone.


Next on her agenda is to win her classmate's heart and to prevent Gu Xichi from committing suicide.


She was never a nosy person, nor is she good on socializing. But this is her second life and she wants to avoid all the chain of events that caused her to be alone in her last life.


In this lifetime, she is determined to live happily and surround herself with real friends.
