Returning to Civilization

Qwen was currently sitting in the lotus position. The pool he was in was a nearly drained of the silver liquid. For 3 years Qwen cultivated nonstop. He didn't need to worry about stabilizing realms after breakthroughs.

Somehow the pure liquid spirit energy push past the limits regardless. However in the 2nd year that progress began to slow. After his breakthrough a year ago. Qwen was currently stuck. Even the liquid spirit energy had stop forcing him past his breakthrough.

Of course outside it had only been 10 days. He had arranged for his 22 new clan memeber to be bought to the Tower. Days later they had arrived and Elder immediately sent them into closed cultivation upon Qwens request.

Qwen currently was nearing the end of his closed cultivation. With only hours left he was attempting his last breakthrough. Dispite his powerful cultivation technique he had been stuck at this particular breaththrough for an entire year.

Qwen had opened all but one of his acupoints. It was the spul acupoint. It had been hidden for an entire year. Qwen used all of his mental abilities to locate tricky acupoint. The rest of the acupoint were in some form or another connected along the lines of the meridians that circulated his body.

He was currently at the peak 'Chi consolidation stage'. You gain special abilities based on your acupoints in your own body fueled by spirit energy or Chi.

The storage void acupoint was located in his frontal lobe in his head. It allowed the storage of weapons and items. It also allowed the control of spirit weapons at the next level. The other five acupoints increased his strength by 50% and assisted with absorbing the 5 elements into the body. It also provided some resistance to each element.

The last acupoint was the most important of all and actually the easiest to obtain once you know where to look. The soul acupoint is located in front on the Dantian region. Once Qwen found this out, he was ready to breakthrough to the next stage.

He calmed his mind and body. He found out he needed absolute concentration. He prepared to smash countless waves of spirit enegy he ticky acupoint but didnt have to. He had slowly worn down the barrier while searching though his body countless times over the last year. The acupoint exploded and so did Qwens energy.

Spiritual energy exploded from his body and into surrounding walls. They only glowed before returning to normal. The spirit energy began to coat his body like an extra layer of skin. Its golden glow shined once more before retuning to his normal skin.

Qwen couldn't believe the power he had. His vitality. He literally could stay awake for weeks. The spirit energy coated his muscles, skin, organs even his blood! It actually remained and didn't go away. Almost like it was a part of him.

Qwen finally broke through to the realm that separated a mortal human to a real cultivators. Qwen didn't FEEL human anymore.

There was still pure spirit energy in the pool but Qwens felt like he couldn't advance anymore. Something held him back. He felt like he was a full well. By absorbing anymore energy it felt like it would harm him if he tried any longer.

Qwen stood to walk out of the chamber. When stepped out side of the palace four people chatted outside. When Qwen walked closer all of their faces turned serious.

They all looked more mature. Battle hardened. The literally look like they've seen hell.

Qwen turned to Elder who suddenly appeared.

"Careful there old man sound like you might be giving me a compliment. Since I'm doing so well how about using my actual damned name?"

I have weapons for you all to use now that you are strong enough. Since you four have all master spirit swords my gift to you are these Emperor grade spirit swords. None of the blades have masters so you will easily be able to bond with them.

The special abilities in the blades can't be used until the you enter the 'Spirit Cultivator' stage.>

The five blades appeared and floated to each person. Each person was in awe of Elder and grabbed the swords in reverence. Each person deeply bowed.

"Thank you master!"

They each said in unison.

Elder crossed his arms with a proud look on his face. He quickly hid it when they looked away.

Elder looked at Ryu and Shizomi.

He looked at the twins. He had a twinkle in his eye. He looked at them almost...grandfatherly Qwen thought to himself. It looks like the old man had more side to him than he was willing to let on.

Qwen touched the palace and willed it into his storage void acupoint.

He turned to Qwen who was smiling at him

"Aww looks like some has a soft spot.

"Correction WAS your tower. My tower now ghost man."

Qwen and the others chuckled Elder who was still screaming obscenities.

"Okay, okay I'm only joking."

In the next few hours each of Qwens four group members had successfully merged the spirits blades within their storage acupoint.

Once completed they then had to train a few more hours with riding on top of their blades until they got the hang of it. They also practiced with maneuvering the blades with their minds while stationary.

Although they still couldn't release spirit energy from their bodies yet, they could still attack hundreds of meters away with their spirit blades.

Qwens sword that Elder had given him was completely black from the hilt to the tip. The only difference was the purple on its blade edges.

He learned while training that multitasking with his blade gave him a way to protect his back in a battle. It also had a special ability in the 'Spirit cultivator' stage of short ranged teleportation.

Qwen had been gone for days. His training had taken a few days longer than anticipated. There was only 2 days until the dungeon break and he hoped the world was ready. In two days time, Earth will have a dangerous fight on its hand.

He didn't have cell service in the middle of the desert. Something he would change in the future

Elder was chatting with the group he trained. He gave them pointers, protection talisman with one time uses. They were similar to the mana barrier bracelet that used spiritual energy instead of mana. It could withstand attacks from middle Transcendent stage level attacks.

Teleporting talismans that would help a cultivator escape in a dire situation. It would would teleport a person anywhere within 1,000 kilometers. It looks like looks like they all formed a sort bond during their time.

"I'm going to head to the closest town to get cell service. We have to figure out what's going on. In hindsight I should have brought a CG Helm so that I could have used it as connection ability to the web. Oh well. "

"What about the rest of the clansmen you brought here?" Shizomi asked. He had a frown on his face. He still didn't fully trust them. Qwen wouldn't either had it not been for the system contracts they signed.

"They will be fine. I have use for them later. For now we need information on the dungeons and what going on. I wouldn't be suprised to see that the world in a panic."

"Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. Especially, with how close things are. I just hope the dungeons are contained." Shizomi responded and nodded his head."

"Hey boss! I cant even sense your spirit power anymore. You must be insanely strong now, huh? " Lisa asked.

"Ha, yeah something like that. I have to work hard to keep ahead of you girls these days."

Jasmine only smiled.

"When we get back we'll make you a largelmk feastmm to celebrate!"

"Alright yeah! But first we have to take care of business. We can still use this opportunity to grow stronger. Plus, we have to consolidate our new cultivation bases. We skipped many stages which could be harmful to us later of we don't."

They ameachnodded in agreement. Its seems they were all stuck in the same position and had walls they couldn't overcome.

After a few more minutes passed, Elder opened a portal in front of them. One by one, they each stepped through. Ignorant to just how much the would had changed in only the two weeks they've been away.
