Qwen sped towards the European continent and would arrive in a few hours time. His mental abilities doubled and he was now able to perform 16 tasks at once with his universal mind trait. He thought about his system shop and all of the gold hes earned during this time period.
His patience had paid off in this short amount of time. He had over 264,304,537 GP in his shop account.
He didn't need to be bogged down with many more spells at the moment. He had is skill to control the weather at his leisure. As a result, multiple elements were already at his disposal.
Cultivation has been his biggest ally recently though. He forced on his cultivation needs. He merged his spirit weapon with his storage void acupoint. He he now had mental control over the weapon. He also flipped though book after book with blinding speeds.
He studied books on spirit arrays, pill making. and creating spirit armor or weapons.
He had to form something called an Eternal flame.
Once you have unlocked the souls body acupoint this becomes possible. Ones must have a strong soul to be able to forge powerful items. Any one can create an Eternal flame when they are able. However, the flame may not be strong enough due to the low talent and a weak internal soul of the cultivator.
There was a skill called soul tempering. Apparently you would have to nearly destroy your soul acupoint and repair it over and over. Similar to forming micro fractures only to let them heal over and over to strengthen the bone.
This was possible with with learning the skill. Qwen still had 127 Shop points left over from his previous dungeon dives. Once he got the notification that he learned the skill. He immediately maxed out with 100 Shop Points. He now had 27 left.
Qwen began to temper his soul acupoint and cleared his mind. He sat down and focused on his body internally. With the skill maxed out he felt like tempering his souls was similar to walking now.
Within an a hour his soul strength had more than tripled. He tempered his soul until it became a light around him nonstop for another hour. Each second that went by he tempered his soul into something else. His body glowed as his souls actually manifest itself showing a godlike perfection.
Qwen read about this ability. The perfect soul. The cultivators soul has no flaws or impurities. He can look into others souls to search the truth. The control over weaker willed being is much easier with a perfect soul. The eternal flame can burn even the souls of beings up to a cultivation stage above the skill users own.
Qwen was in a trance and immediately began forming his eternal flame. A tiny black flame burned inside of his Dantian. He forced the flame to expand and coat his power soul. He expanded the flame until it was covering the soul acupoint.
When the two collided the power soul resisted the flame. Qwen grit his teeth and forced it into the soul with everything he had. He used regeneration to assisted his physical body but the pain was coming from his soul. The pain couldnt compare.
Time passed as the black flame very slowly settled onto the bright golden soul energy surrounding Qwens body like a full body suit.
The black flames slowly turned gold then to white.
He was able to manifest the white flame anywhere on his body. It was also able to extend away from it for 10 meters. Although it was very powerful, it's range was limited.
He could now expand his skills to pill making and creating items.
He received extra suprised also once he perfected his soul.
His Cloud Skimmer was now over the Romanin boarder. He could tell the location of the dungeon he flew inland for a few seconds. Bright light could be seen in the nights sky.
They were lights from the military that surrounded the dungeon.
The dungeon was actually a massive haunted looking mansion that rose high into the sky. It still had the normal portal where the door should be located. Only it looked unstable and was glowing with an ominous red light.
There were all kinds of heavy weapons trained on the building in a 200 foot perimeter.
Outside the military base were tows of tens leading into a town. As Qwen flew closer he noticed weapons of all types and armors that glowed with different abilities. Many were sitting around bonfires keeping warm or just to talk.
Over all mood in the camp seemed seemed to be restlessness and fear.
Qwen left the ship high in the air under cover of the darkness and cloud cover. He jumped down in front of the dungeon.
As soon as his feet touched the ground all hell broke loose.
A voice spoke from one of the loudspeakers inside of the light tanks.
"Halt! Who there? Theres no authorization to use the dungeon! Any unauthorized personnel will shot on sight."
Spotlights from the surrounding area and choppers lit up the darkness. The sounds of thousands weapons cocking and loading rounds into weapon chambers filled the air.
Qwen was shocked to see such a force. He knew how many people were there but to see them have such a reation showed how seriously they took these threats.
Qwen raised his hands and spoke. He was dressed in his red and gold cultivator robe which was placed over his mage light armor and hood so his face wasnt visible. He had a black hilt and elaborate black sheath with purple designs all over it.
"It's me Qwen Valas."
"Its him! The creator Qwen Valas!"
He could hear the murmurs of his name spread though the camp like wildfire.
"Yeah it's me. I'm going to enter the dungeon now."
"Stop right there this Command Sargent Major Holt of the WPF! If you take another step we'll be forced to stop you. We have orders from the president to capture you on sight of you aren't willing to follow suit with proper military regulations."
Qwen shrugged.
"Well it sounds like we are in agreement. I'm going to enter this dungeon and your going to let me. Sounds good? Ok."
Qwen immidiatly turned around and began walking to the portal.
"Stop! I said stop!"
Qwen only ignored him and kept walking towards the portal.
Just as the commander began to issue command to fire, he received a call. It was from his superiors.
"Sir, I have him right in front of me but I-. Yes...yes sir."
Commander Holt sighed.
"Wait. Please!"
Qwen stopped.
"What."
"This dungen is a most most deadly we have come across you won't survive on your own."
"I'll take my chances. I'm not sure we have much time left, right? I would be best of I wasn't held up any further."
Qwen didn't speak any further before entering inside of the dungeon.
Instantly hes surrounds changed. He now stood outside of a thick forest. He had to walk to the inner parts of the dungeon from here. As he strolled he released his spirit sense to the max.
He already sensed 4 level presences arriving in his location at high speeds. He jumped onto one of the high thick tree branches waited.
The four monsters arrived with their unnattural movements. One was in the tree branches looking around and the other three were searching the ground and sniffing the air.
The were of various heights but were all thinly shaped. The had hairless bodies, spiked ears, dark blood red eyes without retina. Their fangs were like 6 inchretractable daggers and their claws were no different but much longer.
A minute after arriving they zeroed in on Qwens location. Once they laid eye on Qwen they pounced without hesitation.
To anyone at the same level or two higher would be pressed fighting these monsters. Their stats just didnt compare to his own. He could see however how many of of the teams were wiped out. Their attacks were unorthodox and they didn't move as though they fear death or pain.
They all arrived infront of Qwen in a second. He dashed to the ground before they could touch him. The branch he stood on exploded into debris. Deep claw marks littered the trunk.
They quickly spotted Qwen and attacked with continued reckless abandon. Qwen dodge and punched out.
Boom!
The force of a mountain impacted the vampires body and it ppexploded on the spot. He sucked his teeth and stopped moving. The slashes instantly raining down on his body. Hideous smiles filled the faces of the vampires. They imagined the flesh of this human that defied them to spread between their claws like they had so many times in the past. Unfortunately, reality was a cruel mistress.
