They all sat down in the living room, and the girl was scolded by her great-grandmother yet again,
"You should be serving your guests! You are the host!"
"Please forgive this granddaughter! Would you care for Jasmine tea?"
The girl's voice was nervous but polite as she bowed.
"No, we need to talk."
Her grandfather said quickly while her brothers pulled her to sit between them. Frustrated that they had only spoken Korean since they walked through the door, Shekinah started an English conversation.
"Mr. Kyo, I didn't expect to see you again."
Shekinah, opposite her daughter, looked around the room at the uncomfortable and unexpected guests. Letting out a low chuckle, he replied,
"I wasn't going to see you, but I needed to see my granddaughter. I didn't have the luxury of waiting."
"I am sorry, but we haven't met."
Robert's voice was harsher than he meant, but he couldn't bring himself to feel sorry for it.
"Oh, that's right! You haven't met my stepdad. I call him dad."
Her voice was bubbly as she turned to her grandfather and then back to Robert,
"This is my grandpa, Kyo Changhyun, my twin big brothers, Kyo Ryujin and Kyo Ryuji, and my great-grandma, Ms. Ann."
She excitedly explained as she pointed at the respective members. Her grandfather smiled at her excitement while her brothers started playing with her hair her great-grandmother's froggy voice rang clearly and demanded attention,
"Now that her father has died, Kyo Seolju is now the CEO of both the Kyol Empire and the Ann Corporation. We need her to come back with us to run the companies and be the head of both our families."
"Wait, brother, say my name!"
Kyo Seolju suddenly exclaimed, excitedly turning to Kyo Ryuji on her left. He looked at her confused but still complied,
"Kyo Seolju, Seolju, snowbaby, baby sis."
"You said my name! Kyo Seolju! I haven't been called that since I left. I didn't realize how much I had missed it!"
Throwing her arms around him, Kyo Ryuji and Kyo Ryujin turned to her and shouted simultaneously,
"What! Who dared to change my baby sister's name!? Your name is Kyo Seolju! My one and only sister!"
"Oh! Well. My mom had me go by Marie Snow McQueen when we moved to America. I kept Snow as my middle name because I wanted something left of you and my home in Korea. But, legally, my name hasn't changed."
Kyo Seolju's voice got softer and trailed off as she played with their fingers.
"You made her change her name!"
Kyo Ryujin and Kyo Ryuji yelled at Shekinah and Robert. A few seconds after they yelled, a loud cry came from one of the rooms.
"Brothers, you woke up the baby!"
Glaring at the boys, Kyo Seolju ran into one of the rooms and came out with a baby in her arms.
"Shh, my sweet boy. They didn't mean to scare you."
Her face beheld adoration, and her voice was tender as she comforted the child.
"How old is your son?"
Old Lady Ann's voice was aggressive, and her wrinkly face sour with a disapproving glare. Her brothers glared at the old woman then smiled smugly.
"It's not her son. My snow baby would not have a child unless she was married."
"Mmm, brothers know me best! This is my baby brother Gabriel."
Smiling, she held him up for them to see. He was small, had almost no hair, big dark brown eyes, a cute button nose, small pouty lips, and chubby cheeks. Her brothers nodded and started to fuss over the baby.
Seeing Kyo SeolJu happy, her parents were torn and didn't know what to say.
"She would need to go to Korea? And live there?"
Shekinah's voice was small and trembled as she spoke.
"Of course! Snow baby would live with grandpa, grandfather, grandmother, younger brother, Ryuji, and I."
Kyo Ryujin's deep voice complemented the flow of Korean.
Robert and Shekinah were confused as they stared at Kyo Ryujin. Giggling, Kyo Seolju explained in English,
"I would live with Grandpa Kyo, Grandpa Kang, Grandma Kang, Mommy, Daddy, Ji, Jin, and my twin brother. I have family in Korea. I would live with them."
"Aigo, you are leaving out one of the most important things!"
Kyo Ryuji fussily held his head in his hands. Tilting her head cutely, Kyo Seolju had no clue what he was talking about.
"What he means is you are going to the same school the twins, Soja, and your cousin are going to."
Grandpa Kyo calmly explained, rubbing her head. Seolju's eyes grew wide, and her mouth fell open,
"I am! I get to go to school with my brothers!"
"Of course! I would never lie to you, my little snowflake."
He replied, pinching her cheek. She nodded her head and then nervously asked,
"Mom, dad, may they stay with us while they are here? Please! I haven't seen my brothers or grandpa in ten years! Please let them stay here."
Robert and Shekinah exchanged glances, but it didn't last long due to old lady Ann yelling in Korean.
