Siblings

Later That Night

"We finally got them to bed!"

Exasperated, Kyo Ryujin threw himself on an inflatable bed.

"I thought they would never go to bed!"

Kyo Ryuji collapsed on the floor, exhausted. Laughing, Kyo SeolJu went to the movie shelf and started to call out movie names.

"Live-action Wonderland!"

The twins spoke simultaneously,

"It was one of your favorite movies when you were younger."

"Really? I don't remember. Maybe that's why I love it so much. Although I still love the original, the live-action is my favorite."

She smiled while putting the disc in. The boys sat on the bed using pillows to prop up their backs while Kyo Seol Ju laid on their chests. Feeling her brother's arms wrap around her she couldn't stop the happiness she felt from showing on her face. While watching the movie, they laughed and talked about the things they liked or disliked about it, but by the time it ended, the three of them were asleep.

Hearing the end credits play, Robert and Shekinah quietly went to check on the quiet siblings. Both the boys had turned toward Kyo SeolJu with their arms as her pillow. She snuggled between them, holding their arms around her, and the three shared a giant blanket. Kyo SeolJu smiled in her sleep and cuddled closer to her brothers. Her parents knew she would never be happy without them.

"Should we wake her up?"

Kyo Ryuji whispered the next morning as he played with Kyo SeolJu's hair.

"If you want to make breakfast with her like we used to, then we need to get her up."

Kyo Ryujin gazed dotingly at his sweet sister.

Hearing their conversation from the kitchen, Robert chuckled in amusement that they thought they could wake Kyo SeolJu from her sleep.

"You will never be able to get her out of bed. She doesn't wake up for anybody. She may wake up around ten o'clock but waking her up at six a.m. is impossible."

"Don't underestimate them. If anyone can get her out of bed, it's her brothers."

Grandpa Kyo laughed, coming into the kitchen and rolling up his sleeves.

"Baby sis, you need to wake up."

Kyo Ryujin sat her up and held her close.

"No! If I wake up, you will be gone, and my beautiful dream will be ruined!"

She pouted while snuggling further into his chest.

"Oh, my beautiful SnowBaby. If I pinch you, will you believe me?"

Kyo Ryuji asked, adoration laced in his voice as he pinched her.

"Oww! You are real! I'm not dreaming! I have my brothers!"

She jumped up and hugged them but quickly slid back under the blanket.

"I am going back to sleep now that I know you won't leave me."

"Alright, easier for us then. We won't have to cook breakfast."

The twins yawned and pulled the blanket up further.

"What!"

Kyo SeolJu sat up and started pulling at her brothers.

"Come on! Let's go! Get up! I want my breakfast!"

Grandpa Kyo laughed as he hugged his granddaughter and said good morning.

"Morning! Come on! We still have to go to the store!"

Quickly giving a kiss to her grandfather, Kyo SeolJu ran up the stairs to her room to get dressed. Her brothers laughed as they followed her up the stairs with boxes in their hands. Robert was amazed that she had gotten up on her own. He always had to threaten her with her phone or laptop. Shaking his head, he heard them talking from upstairs.

"You made these for me?!"

The astonishment in her voice was adorable.

"Of course! I want you to have the best!"

One of the boys said, his voice dripping with pride.

"Out! Out! Out! I want to try on my new clothes!"

She yelled at them, slamming the door. Coming down the stairs, the boys smiled at Robert,

"Do you have a room we could change it?"

"Around the corner. First door on your left."

Nodding his head in the direction of the room, Robert turned back to the stove to flip the eggs in the pan.

After a few minutes, the three had finished changing, and Kyo SeolJu came running down the stairs.

"I love these!"

"I hoped you would."

Kyo Ryujin patted her head lovingly.

"Sis, I have something else for you."

Opening a small white box, Kyo Ryuji took out a pair of diamond teardrop earrings and a silver necklace with a single teardrop diamond. Although the jewelry was simple, the craftsmanship was impeccable, and every detail was intricate.

"Oh, Ji! I can't believe you made this! When did you two get so good at designing!"

Kyo SeolJu's captivated and awestruck eyes sparkled as she stared at her brother's creation. Letting out a breathy laugh, the twins put the jewelry on Kyo SeolJu with expert hands. Observing the siblings, Shekinah and Robert couldn't help being astonished by how perfect they looked at each other's side.

Kyo SeolJu's face was glowing with minimal makeup, making her overwhelming beauty look effortless. It enhanced her large gold-brown eyes, small nose, rosy cheeks, and full plump red lips. Her dark hair was tied in a messy pony with strands of hair left to frame her small milky face. Teardrop earrings made her small ears look dignified, and a diamond daintily sat in the center of her sharp collarbone. She wore a large pale blue oversized sweater tucked into a black jean skirt that stopped mid-thigh, and white wedge hightop Converse emphasized her long legs.

The twins jet black chin-length hair fell on their faces making their pale skin look almost translucent, and a single diamond stud graced both of their ears. A white baseball cap shaded their high nose, dark eyes, and thin lips. They wore the matching oversized sweaters and tucked them into their black jeans with white hightop Converse.

"Wow, you guys are matching!"

Joy exclaimed, running down the stairs. Breaking Shekinah and Robert out of their haze, they saw Grandpa Kyo smile at them knowingly.

"Kids, get down here, or you will be late for school!"

Yelling up the stairs, Shekinah grabbed a hairbrush and started to brush Joy's hair.

"I love you! See you after school, girls! Bye, mom! Bye, dad! Bye grandpa! Be back soon!"

Kyo SeolJu waved goodbye and ran out, the twins shutting the door behind them. Robert didn't want to think of the time when Kyo SeolJu would leave and not come back.
