Obey Your Sister

"Whoa! There are already so many things to spook us out, don't scare us like that Chen Chen," Li Ming Hao jumped.

"No, what notebooks were you two talking about?" he probed once more. His eyes were darting back and forth between the two people who, it seemed like, were hiding something from him. Had their relationship always been so good by the way? It did look like young master Li had fallen for his sister. Was he supposed to report this to Dean Li?

"Uhh… notebook. Yeah, my notebook. Remember the diary I used to write to maintain notes? I lost it when that blast happened. So I was just telling him that we either need to find it or I will need to try to remember all its content," Su Xin Yu waved towards her cousin to grab his attention. She did reply awkwardly and the suspicion of the rather dumb guy grew towards them. They were definitely keeping secrets between them.

Chen Chen squinted, his eyes turning into a slit.

"Xin Yu, why don't you go scout the area ahead. I think I need to talk to your brother here," Li Ming Hao pushed the girl to go ahead. He knew she was nervous. She had picked up on what had really happened to her bag and her equipment. And he was in agreement that Chen Chen had some ulterior motives. Now if he really got to know about those precious notebooks of his, both of them would be doomed.

Su Xin Yu looked at the guy and sensed a dangerous aura emanating from his eyes. She knew that Li Ming Hao was hiding a few secrets of his own but she let him do his work. After all, he would be as screwed as her if those notebooks were discovered.

Chen Chen also sensed the danger lurking in the smile that Li Ming Hao had pasted on his face. The animal instinct in himself was telling him to run. But he was stuck between the rock and the hard place. Without Su Xin Yu, he could not pass that gate. And behind him awaited his death. What was he supposed to do? Why could he not keep his own sinister brain from acting up and revealing his thoughts to everyone here, even if just with his expressions.

Su Xin Yu went ahead and passed through the gate. There was another chamber just behind it and a very huge gate made of stones that looked heavy. On the walls, there were paintings, but it was hard to make anything out of them. It was almost as if someone had deliberately distorted them.

Oh right! It was a huge real life puzzle. She ran her fingers on the tiles and knocked them. Oh? They looked movable. She worked on a loose one a bit and came out. The thickness of this rock tile with intricate carvings was similar to that of a brick. It was square in shape and a bit heavy.

She took the tile down and put in on the floor. This was heavy labor, she needed the two boys there to help her out. That would reduce time rather than her doing it all alone.

"So Mr. cousin, I hear you are an agent of my dad?"

In the space just before the chamber, Li Ming Hao had decided to take the matter of the annoying pest in his own hands. And since Su Xin Yu had left them alone on his urging, he knew she was ready for this guy to learn a lesson.

He cracked his knuckled producing heavy sounds echoing through the now completely silent area.

Chen Chen stared at Li Ming Hao's hands that were ready to break a bone or two. Hmph! He could not do anything to him here. After all, they were on an expedition and if something happened to him, then those two would need to carry his fat body themselves. His fearful demeanor suddenly flipped to an arrogant one.

"What, are you thinking that I can't do anything to you? Listen good sir, you do not know my background. I have thousand different ways of torturing you without as much lifting my finger. So take out that thought of your mind. My only condition to let you go easily that you won't reveal anything to my dad unless approved by your sister," he said strictly, his eyes getting icier by the second. Chen Chen felt like death God had just paid him a visit.

If he died, he died.

He guffawed, "Young master Li, what, did she manage to catch your heart? Did you fall in that tramp's trap? Too bad, it was all a strategy of hers from the start. That's what she does, she did it with your dad and now you. Seduction is her weapon," Chen Chen decided to try and put a wedge between the two. It did seem like that this guy was too much enamored by his sister.

And he firmly believed that that girl was being groomed by Dean Li not only for her blood but something else. If that girl took off her nerd glasses, she was a top beauty in whole of the city. Who would not want her? He had always suspected that Dean Li had other plans for her.

"Silence! You trash can only speak trash about others," Li Ming Hao felt enraged for Su Xin Yu. She had been providing for him for all these years and this guy decided to slander her just to save his own ass? In his fury, he went ahead and grabbed Chen Chen's neck. "Say one more word about her and you are gone," he spoke through clenched teeth.

"Haha, young master Li, wake up. She abandoned me at your mercy just now. Who is to say she would not do the same for you?"

"Oh, so you know you are at my mercy? Yet you keep spouting nonsense?" Li Ming Hao could not stop himself, the pressure around Chen Chen's neck was increasing slowly.

Chen Chen felt suffocated, like a snake was slowly wrapping and tightening its body around his. After a certain point, he had started feeling choked.

"Y-young master Li! You would not really k-kill me, would you?" he asked, his eyes had started to roll backwards.

"It depends on you. When you were gone, we were doing alright. So you are not necessarily required," Li Ming Hao burst into a sinister smile. Chen Chen now understood that he really had incensed a grim reaper.

Rocky at the back tugged Li Ming Hao's leg and whined.

"I know Rocky, don't worry. I will control," he placated the dog with his words. "So?" he asked Chen Chen.

"M-master! I am sorry. I will follow your instructions," Chen Chen managed to squeeze out in his almost lost voice.

"Good. Remember your words, okay?" Li Ming Hao finally let go of the dirty neck of the fat guy. He took out a handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his hands clean while glaring at the guy in front of him for the whole duration.

Chen Chen, on the other hand wheezed, his body desperately trying to grasp for air. He coughed and coughed, but he could not dare to lift his eyes to look at the man. He was a trouble! Good that his cousin got young master Li's heart. She could die just like that one day too.

"Hey guys, help me out?" Su Xin Yu suddenly appeared from behind the statue.
