Labels affect people's lives in any world. As it turns out, being a demon brings a bunch of dangers.

 After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold.

Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

The Birth of a Demon Lord

The forest was home to many different oddities and the activities of the Lightning Sword's party only served to enhance the fact.


Since Bella and Ima had left him to his own devices, monster cub Azemo decided to go exploring. He was hoping to maybe find some creature that would help him strengthen his monster form. It was the longest he had been away from Bella and Ima since he met them, but he still had Reginald's voice in his head.


"The forest all looks the same to me, my lord." To a creature that spent the entirety of his life in the deserts of Kclzan, Reginald missed the intricacies of the forest.


"Very helpful." Azemo's sarcastic tone suddenly changed at the end of his words as Reginald had accidentally given him an idea. He was going to visit a monster heavy part of the forest. He wanted to figure out what they really thought about the new demon lord.
