The Gorger

There was little I could do except follow the lizard-like monster and I leapt from the tree landing in the camp.

"Welcome, I am glad you are not one of those stuck up pricks who don't heed the call."

The monster was hanging from a tree branch with its tail as it spoke and when I nodded my head, it returned back to its guard duty.

Now I had to figure out a way to get out of the camp or my friends would come looking for me, most likely walking to their deaths. I glanced around, but none of the other monsters seemed to be moving, it was if they were all waiting for something.

Trying to get some information, I sidled up to a monster that looked a little more intelligent than its brethren. The one I chose was a soft blue creature with large eyes and five identical limbs. If they were not protruding from spots similar to humans, I would not be able to tell them apart.

"Why have we been called?"
