Chapter 90

Chris held Aiyana’s hand as they walked along the bridge leading to the Notre Dame Cathedral as he went on and on about the history of the Cathedral. All Aiyana caught from all of it was that it was a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, a term she was not sure of the meaning of and it basically started in like the 16th century or something when they broke down like two of the churches or whatever they called it back then to make space for it. It was done under some pope called Maurice de Sully. Poor thing never got to see the finished product mostly because it took like over a hundred years to build it. She pretty much zoned out after that.

It was when she reached that she was awestruck by the sight in front of her. The vast cathedral in all its glory. She stood atop the pavement that was called the four courts square where the remnants of Basilica of Saint Steven once stood and soaked in the glorious piece of architecture she had seen.
