Asahi's POV
Does she really want me to shoot a guy at a car wash?! She must be joking. "You don't actually want me to kill him at a car wash right?" I say nervously. "No! Why the fuck will I ask you to just kill a guy in the open? The gun won't kill him just paralyze him. Plus, it's a small gun and I brought a silencer so people don't hear it." Yuri said.
I take a deep breath and take the gun and aim it at the guy's chest. "Don't shoot him in the chest! Shoot him in the neck." Yuri yelled at me. I aim for his neck, take a deep breath, and shoot. The bullet hit him in his neck and he fell to the floor.
Yuri speeds out of the car wash. "What was that for?" I ask. "He's a mole. Working for one of the mafia's that want me gone." She said. She's so beautiful. Her short dark red hair, her brown eyes, her pink plump lips, her milky white skin, her nose piercing that makes her look like even more of a badass, she's the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.
"We have to make a stop before we head back to the mansion." She said. "Okay. Where are we going?" I asked. "my parent's house. I'm sure you know about the robbers that came to their house yesterday, correct?" She asked. I nod my head in response.
"Hinata is there updating their security now. Plus, they'd love to meet my new friend and I hope you're, not a lightweight my- Michael likes to drink with my male friends." She said, smiling a little.
"You have a cute smile," I said. "Shut up and none of that flirting stuff when we get there. I swear Asahi if you try to flirt with me I'll shoot you." She said. "What is with you and the gun threats? I was just being nice" I said, pouting.
"Sorry, I'm not used to people complimenting me. Plus, you're quite annoying but I guess I can ease up with the treats but seriously don't pull that crap when we arrive." She said. "Okay...fine. Well, you better get used to the compliments...sexy." I said, smirking.
She rolls her eyes but I can see a small smile on her face. She's amazing...I just wish I knew her better.
"We're here!" She says opening the car door and stepping out. "That was fast," I muttered while getting out of the car. Yuri rings the doorbell. "Yuri! I'm so glad you're here" A woman with long black hair and blue eyes opened the door and hugged yuri. "Who is this handsome man? Is he your boyfriend?" She says winking at Yuri.
"No! Of course not, this is Asahi, my new...friend. Asahi this is my mom." Yuri said. "It's nice to meet you Ms.Lee," u said smiling at her. "it's nice to meet you too." She says smiling at me.
"Mom? Can we come in or are you going to make us freeze out here?" Yuri asked. Yuri's mom laughs a little and opens the door. I walk inside and take off my coat and put it on the hanger. "So Asahi tell me about yourself. How did you become friends with my daughter?" Ms. Lee asked. "We, I-" before j could say anything else Yuri cut me off.
"Mom, that's the least of our concern right now. What happened yesterday?" Yuri said. Even around her family she still acted professionally.
"Well, I remember washing dishes and preparing dinner when I heard a window smash. I heard voices and for steps coming so, I ran into the bedroom and hid under the bed. Michael was at the market getting the cake so I was by myself. I called you twice but you didn't pick up and then Michael came in and I heard him scream. I tried calling you again but no answer." She stops for a second and takes a deep breath.
"I knew I had to help him. So I ran downstairs into the kitchen and grabbed a pan and hit the guy who was beating up Michael. The robber passed out but another one came behind me and everything went black." She said, her hands trembled a bit.
"When I woke up both I and Michael were tied up. The robbers were smashing and taking stuff. Then one of them pulled out their gun and was about to shoot us but then three people came in and killed them. It was all a blur really." Ms. Lee spoke nervously and her hand trembled.
Yuri reached over and grabbed her hand. "It's okay, your safe now," Yuri said smiling. I never knew she could be so gentle with a person, she always seemed so...cold.
"Who's hungry?!" the guy Michael asked. He and Hinata brought the plates to the table. It seems Yuri doesn't see Michael as her father but considers Ms. Lee as her mom.
"So, Asahi how did you meet Yuri?" Michael asked.
I can't tell them the truth. I know just the story! "Well, we met at the gym. I was having a hard time with my trainer and Yuri offered to help me train instead. We became close and soon enough Yuri opened up to me and now we're friends." I said
"I'm glad Yuri is meeting new people. As a kid, she always had trouble making friends. All she had was Hinata, Shoto, and Takata. She did make a new friend in high school but…" Ms. Lee stopped halfway and frowns.
"I'm going to go outside for a bit," she said
"I shouldn't have said that." Ms. Lee says. I should go talk to her. "I'll be back," I said. I walk outside to see Yuri sitting on the porch with a flask. "What do you want? Leave me alone and go back inside." She said. I could hear the pain in her voice...this is my chance to get close to her. I sit down next to her and sigh.
"I know I just met you but I want to get to know you. We're friends, right? You can talk to me, you don't have to put your guard up around me." I said. I place my hands on her hand and give her a smile.
"Her name was Lexi...She was my girlfriend"
