Third Person's POV
The purple robe man said with the cunning smile behind the beautiful mask. It covers the lower half of his face but it cannot hide his handsome and slightly upturned eyes -phoenix eyes- which is as black as the night that no one can't help but be dazed just by a glimpse.
His voice is a music that is masculine and pleasant to the ears. Trained and raised with the right and majestic manners, each move and step taken are calculated, firm, and praise-worthy. Truly worthy of his title. His intelligent eyes and dominating aura can't be help unnoticed by any person in front.
Those body,face, and posture are cultivated and refined to those of perfection. With just a slight observation someone could say that he is the son of the heaven -well,except for this naive girl in front(-.-)- raised to be above everyone else.

"I-im okay,mister." Slightly bowing and trembling, the fear inside Bei Xi doesn't subsided even with his gentle tone.
She remembered watching some movies where lunatics and psychos pretends to be kind and approachable later on smashing you with an axe. Leaving you without any limbs and then toy with you like a caterpillar.She hate that she watch these kind of movie but her brothers literally tied her to her seat.
'I need to get outta here. Huhuhu'
"Are you sure, young miss? I know the in and outs of this place. I might as well help you. Even if its early, a lot of robbers lurks here." The phoenix eyes man said.
'Yah right. Your one of them, you pretencious seducer.'
"It could be a hindrance for you. I can manage,sir."
Because of too much fright she doesn't mind her way of addressing the said man. Her words are not left unnoticed by him making him chuckle in his mind.
'A cute kitten' he struggled in keeping the grin put of his face.
"I really don't mind. Let's go." The man's words and actions are synchronized. He caught the arm of Bei Xi and walks with her while talking.
Because of uncertainess and shock she almost scream but stop halfway. It could attract a lot of unwanted attention, bring more danger her situation. Since this man is eager and look kind she'll let it be but not after checking each sides and street they pass by. She's ready to take off if any strange sight appear and confident to be able put a fight or kicked the man in -you know- the unsaid part.

"Where are we,mister?" Her voice seems so small but her eyes are twinkling with sparks.
In front of her is a view she'd never thought she'll ever witness. In their way, she almost ran away due to some mysteriousness of the path they're taking but the man reassure her and it did calm her nerves. Its true that she doesn't know him but even though that's what she feel, Bei Xi can't help but follow him and his instructions. He have the air of a ruler.
"We're at the Ling River. I name it myself since this place is unfound by anyone."
The majestic place seems magical and wonderful. The clear and blue water,the water creatures beneath the surface,the greenery and shrub beside it and the ever calm sky that is reflected in the water. If she is in Earth,she'll definitely think this is one of The Seven Wonders Of Earth. Truly magnificent. *o*
Someone will notice her change in mind rapidly and her amnesia for running away but she's a little of an idiot.
Well, maybe not a little. :)
As Bei Xi is being drawn to the sights the mysterious man beside her felt a tug in his heart. The innocence emitted by her drawn the Prince like the way she is drawn to the river.
You read it right. The man beside her is a Prince -the Crown Prince to be exact-.
Known for his handsomeness and skills both in politics and fighting. He is born to be the heir since he is the son of the Empress and the Emperor. War tactics,sword fighting,etiquette,literature,and more are past down to him by the Imperial Tutor since his memories can remember.
But this Crown Prince is hard to have a glimpse of. He barely attend banquets and people doesn't really mind 'cauz the Emperor hasn't said anything. But each time he is present,the malicious and ambiguous eyes of the opposite sex is hard to hide. They are eyeing him like a prey.
A lot of maidens tried to seduce him using different tactics. Some use the white lotus effect,green tea bitches,exhibition of their talents, seductive dress,"unexpected/ coincident" encounter,and such but no one is said to have succeeded. The Crown Prince stay unfazed with their petty tricks.
No one caught his interest but this girl in front of him. She seems untainted by the worldy greed and schemes. She smiles brightly and uncaring. She is carefree and naive. He never met a girl like her before.
Maybe that's it.
He is just curious with her. Nothing more. He can't let his guard down just because she looks innocent. Maybe she's just like them. Those who wanna climb his bed.
Maybe he is overthinking over a 5 year old child but nobles are not so noble these days.
He flick a piece of paper out of nowhere without being noticed. The Shadow Guard caught the paper and read it.
The Shadow Guard look back before going away.
"Yes, your Highness."

The Crown Prince notice his thoughts going overboard for a mere 5 year old child. He throw his thoughts in the back of his head and stare at the river rather than the child. Unknowingly, the girl in his thoughts is lost to the paradise-like place in front of her.
She just stop her flying brain from going too far when the sun blind her sight. Immediately retracting her eyes away from the scornful light. Bei Xi remembered that she just escape the servants' clutches and needed to go back before the sunset to avoid beatings. She intends to charm her way to lessen it in anyway possible. Without thinking that her body won't sustain it and her father won't let any harm near 5feet from her.
Maybe her mother will faint in shock if she knew that she snuck out under those servants' surveillance. She is still recuperating and inside a frail body but she feel like enjoying the stay because she never knew when she will die with this body of hers being weakly. She really bite more than she can chew but she prefer it than dying without enjoying life and she doesn't really regret it since her sight is graced by this majestic kingdom. She may drown here and not regret a single thing.
Her pale complexion is unnoticed by the Crown Prince in the first place but said nothing which she feel relieved about.
"Mr.Stranger, you really named this place?,"her eyes glistened because of the sun's rays while looking at the tall man.
The stranger look at her for a moment and then nodded.
"Strange. It is the same as my surname-," before she realize that she spurt it out its already too late.
She clamped her mouth and look at the man fearfully. Bei Xi is scared that the man in front her may turn out to be a bandit and use her to claim a ransom from her family since she remember Ling surname to be possessed by only one family which is her's.
The Crown's Prince eyes wavered in less than a second but then smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"Are you from the Prime Minister's courtyard?," he softly said that almost sound like a whisper. As if threatening her not to lie.
Although unsure and frightened,Xi Er needed to think fast in able to save her petty life.
Leaved with no choice she slowly nodded and stare at the stranger with her dough like eyes as if asking for mercy.
The man actually chuckled and slowly put his hand to his mask to remove it. The shadow guards held their breath all at once when their master's hand are already on top of the mask. All the persons that saw their master's appearance disappeared without a trace in their land. They feel pity for the one in front of him.
The said pitiful person's mouth is hanging because of the sudden movement of the strange man whose hands is now in top of the mask.
'Will he remove it? Hihihi, im so excited. He may not be that bad looking,right?,' if the shadow guards where to hear her thoughts they will definitely smash their heads at a wall and pray for her soon-to-be-deceased-body. She has the time to think for that when she is soon to be murdered? They will also shake their heads to her silliness.
