Stuck

A void of black space surrounded her. Golden letters appeared out of nowhere.

[Now Launching MagiStuck 2

Recalling Player Data . . . ]

Golden sparks burst at her feet, but strangely it didn't hurt as they circled around her legs, a familiar pair of knee-high white boots, with tiger orange as the color of its threading and heels.

Brown stockings wrapped around her legs and finally the white asymmetrical mini dress with orange and gold sleeves.

Her black braids extended, from the crown of her head to the ends of her hair strands her hair color changing to dark teal green, something tickled her corneas. When it was finished, a mirror appeared showing off her finished transformation. Those goldfish orange eyes...

Sure enough, it was her character from the game Jinyu Yaweh.

Jinyu's appearance wasn't actually that different from her real one. She only recolored her character's hair, extended its length, and recolored her irises, their facial features were still exactly alike. It was the same reserved sort of pure and scholarly appearance, with a round face and doe eyes.

Whether or not to describe her as a beauty, Su Yawen always believed that anyone could be interpreted as beautiful whether they put on makeup or were confident enough to show off their natural charms. There were many moments where she considered herself pretty and many moments where she was so self-conscious she'd rather wear a drawstring hoodie all day.

A recap of the events of the old game scrolled by at a rapid pace, Jinyu tried to keep up but the loading screen for the sequel started.

[ Sending Character 'Jinyu Yaweh' into world

World Loading . . .]

Jinyu's character stat sheet appeared beside her reflection, there were too many things to focus on at once. The gravity suspending her in the air vanished plunging her into deep dark oblivion, but at the bottom, a bright, white light awaited her.

Jinyu found herself feeling warmth from all sides. Opening her eyes she found herself sleeping in a bed next to a huge window. Sunlight filtered through the white curtains and she lifted a hand to shield her face.

For a second she thought it was all a dream but this room was most certainly not as small or modestly furnished as her real one.

Sitting up, she scanned the room in confusion, her glasses were on the other side of the bed. Her vision was much better here, she didn't need them anymore as she could see fine in this world but wearing them made her feel safe as the magic glasses had special features installed in them that could identify her location and more.

Crawling to the other side of the bed and reaching over a bundle of cloth, Jinyu didn't notice the tufts of hair sticking out from underneath the sheets as well as the pair or piercing eyes that emerged, they watched her put on her glasses.

"Oh!" She jumped back, nearly falling headfirst off the bed in the process. Steadying herself, she climbed off and studied the person who surfaced from underneath the sheets from the safety of the floor.

A handsome man with stern light brown eyes, broad shoulders, chiseled abs, long legs, and an intimidating aura. You know, typical love interest requirements.

Jinyu recognized him only after taking him all in. In the prequel, there were five original love interests. When you don't raise your relationship with the main love interests you get pushed off to one of the side characters, your love o'meter with side characters are calculated based on how you go about interacting with the five original love interests.

This man was the older brother of one of those love interests. By ignoring all five characters and diligently focusing on fighting monsters and building her base she had gained the interest of Ning Warren. A military general that served the Emperor of the Qilin Kingdom. In the prequel, the game ended after the Emperor announced their engagement, and had elevated Ning Warren to the title of a Prince.

Unlike the main five, Warren didn't try to force his affections. . .this was because he was a cold person, no affection existed. He was good at his job and useful to the emperor so that probably didn't matter. To the emperor, both of them were too valuable to leave wasting at the side.

Jinyu never really cared too much about the ending but wasn't this the sequel? She had complained about forced relationships and here she was waking up in his bed. It would seem that the developer of this game found her strong aversion to harem games offensive and intended to spite her.

Holding in her sigh. Jinyu bowed.

"Good morning, my Lord."~

She was wearing a beige nightdress and she could still feel that her underwear was on so nothing had happened...probably.

He waved her away.

Jinyu spotting a familiar goldfish robe slipped it on. If this goldfish robe existed then surely so did all her other belongings. Maybe even her residence?

"I imagine you will be busy today, so. . . this one will head back first."

He gave no verbal response only dismissed her with a shooing gesture as he slipped back under the covers. Before the game ended, a weekly festival was held and the probability of Warren being too exhausted from escorting the King and the royal family to muster any politeness now, was obvious.

Walking towards the door Jinyu imagined the bedroom she designed from her game. With a snap of her fingers, she lit aflame.

Watching her with indifference in his eyes, Ning Warren watched orange flames shaped like goldfish circle her, starting from her feet all the way to her head, her body disappeared and the flaming goldfish along with her. Not a scorch mark to be seen. He raised an eyebrow with faint interest before closing both eyes.

Jinyu blinked at the bookshelves surrounding her.

Sitting atop a platform of stairs sat her queen-sized bed. Since she rarely slept in-game, she had merged her bedroom with her library instead. Walking over to the bookshelves near her bed, she pulled at one of the books and a soft clinking sound could be heard as the bookshelf slid to the side revealing a large room with tons of closets, dressers, and trunks. There was a door that lead to an indoor hot spring. Recalling how proud she was when she finally finished constructing it Jinyu smiled to herself.

After taking a bath in one of the normal bathrooms, she changed into a pale green dress with maple leaves embroidered on the ends of her sleeves and skirt, she left her room. Seeing her home she had actually built-in person, Jinyu was feeling emotional.

"Milady!" As she walked down the hall of one of the inner courtyards a little boy with black skin, red hair and pale grey eyes, a little girl with reddish tanned skin, black hair and yellow eyes hurried towards her.

"Fakir, Tita?" These were the koi fish she had raised to the max level, they became deities and acquired a humanoid form making very useful errand kids who could help you farm and gather resources. They could assume whatever age they liked but they liked showing up as kids. It felt surreal seeing them in person, they were so adorable and real!

Also before she had considered them like her kids so she felt even more moved. These feelings left her flustered, for the developer of the game to suddenly plunge her into this world without her knowing felt wrong but without realizing it, being able to actually interact with what she was attached to in this game made her surprisingly happy.

"Good Morning!" Tita chirped, a big grin on her face.

"You have visiting guests, ma'am!" Fakir announced. He wasn't as smiley or as playful as his twin sister but he was still a good child nonetheless who felt a responsibility to assist Jinyu, even now, that aspect about him hadn't seemed to change.

"Visitors?"

Recalling the text that had sped by, Jinyu was certain there was something she had missed.

"Bring them into the tea room, I'll be waiting."

"Right away ma'am." Fakir left immediately.

And Tita ran off to go prepare refreshments immediately.

Fakir ran faster than her so he was able to guide the guests to the room before Jinyu arrived in the tea room. Smiling at him as she eyed him standing before the door. He stepped aside without a word, his cute little face blankly staring ahead like a default NPC. It warmed Jinyu's heart.

"Thanks again, Fakir."

The boy only dipped his head.

Entering the tea room, Jinyu was surprised at the crowd before her.

"I see, so the first player arrives last." The one who spoke was a familiar person. Long Platinum blonde hair and lilac eyes, her character was said to be inspired by merging Sleeping Beauty and Maleficent into one person.

She was Lilac Briarose. The second player on the ranking board.

The server of MagicalGirlsNOT! was a small private one but it was still quite common for players to co-op and slay monsters together, Lilac and many of the girls in the room were all members of the same party. Because their group was so small, it became something like a community. However, the game had never been set up for them to interact in the same universe, only to summon each other to raids.

(I see...but if the game developers allowed all of the players in the game to coexist in the same universe wouldn't that make the players compete for the love interests affection? There were some players who rather than seducing one love interest raised it with all, so how exactly would it work out?)

Such was Jinyu's first thought as she made her way to the table. She greeted everyone with a refreshed smile.

"This is surprising, how long have you all been in this world?"

"Like you, most of us arrived today, but for me and a few others it was just yesterday," Lilac explained with her signature mysterious smile as she leaned forward and tucked her hand underneath her chin. Jinyu sat next to her.

"I see. This feels surreal."

"Right?"

"So that means everyone in here has already completed the first game?" Jinyu asked.

Hearing this everyone raised their eyebrows at her.

"First game? You mean there's a second?" Tree, who was usually very quiet inquired.

"That's right when I first entered that void the screen said something about "Loading MagiGirlStuck2."

"I see. So this is a sequel. Well, that said, Not all of us were able to beat this game, after you left the server only the three of us finished, so why don't we all introduce ourselves in that order? Then the order of the rankings." Lilac suggested.

"Okay," Standing Jinyu scanned the crowd. "My avatar name is Jinyu Yaweh but my real name is Su Yawen, I'm twenty-two years old, a college student in her sophomore year. My primary class is that of a summoner." Jinyu stuck out her finger and the translucent image of a flaming red goldfish swam across the room even though it was moving through air.

"As you can see my primary essence is both fire, water and light. On the rankings, you might recognize my usernames as being both No. 1 in the fire, and space magic rankings. I was also No. 1 summoner class rankings as well. And as you can all already tell, I was the first one to finish the game."

Lilac rose as Jinyu sat down.

"I'm Lilac Briarose, my real name is Aurora like the Disney Princess. I'm eighteen and in my senior year of high school, I was the second person to finish after Jinyu. I specialize in curse magic and was No. 1 in the witch class ranking, though it's probably due to not many people choosing that class. A pleasure to meet you all, I always wanted to host a real-life meeting but this will also do."

After Lilac finished, Tree, the woman sitting next to her stood. She was a gorgeous woman with light green hair, metallic leafy yellow eyes and a big bust. She was dressed in thin white clothing, giving off the vibe that she was some sort of fairy goddess.

"I'm Tree Temis, I don't think my real name matters but if you like please call me Ms. Kozack, I'm thirty-two years old, I was an office worker before this. My primary class is druid. That is all."

Her introduction was short, she must not be the social type.

A girl with twin buns stood.

"Um, I'm Luna Na, though you all can just call me Nia. I was a high schooler before this point and I never checked the rankings so I'm not sure where I lie but um… I'm a martial artist also I was the last person to beat the game after Ms. Kozack here." Humbly bowing she quickly sat back down. Jinyu had expected her personality to be more bubbly based on the twin bun Chinese character trope.

"I see, so next the ones to introduce themselves will be in the order of game progress," Lilac said.

And so, the introductions continued.
