Humanity

Adrien pried his eyes open. The first thing he saw was blood. Lots and lots of blood. He tried to turn his neck and an explosive pain surged through his neck. He groaned and tried to grab something. "Gah… -she… Ah-sheh…" He coughed up blood. And then his vision went black. 

Ashe came to consciousness a while later and she head sounds approaching her. Loud, siren sounds. An… ambulance. She turned to the side to see Adrien passed out, thick stains of blood streaking his shirt and head. What the hell had just happened? Everything else was a blur. 

She heard faint screams. Everything was black for once, and then bright white lights again. Black again. Then a clock. It showed a time. 

And it was definitely past 6. It all went black again.
