Before Mcgreed and Cleidious begin to scout the area, they hold a small meeting for their team.

" Once again, I'm Mcgreed. You can call me anything except greed." Introduced Mcgreed while joking about his name.

" Hahaha, alright how about I just call you Mcgreed? And I'm Cleidious. Alright, how should we do this? " asked Cleidious for Mcgreed's opinion for their scouting strategy.

" Right, as Khelgarr warned Azlanc, we don't know anything about this world. So, we need to gather as much information as possible, no matter how small or useless it seems to be. Also, we need to familiarize ourselves with this area. Later, or maybe tomorrow we will scout again to see if anything changes." Mcgreed shared his idea to Cleidious.

" I see, it's like what they did in movies right? The branch, leaf, or footprint they left on the path they used. If the branch is in a different condition from what we see it today, then we can assume that someone must have used the path. Right?" Said Cleidious trying to understand Mcgreed idea.

" That's right. Hehe, how's that? Movies can be a really useful reference at times like this right?" Mcgreed boasts his idea.

" Genius! Haha... If that's the case then, let's scout while putting some distance between us so that we can cover a larger area. Of course, the distance shouldn't be that far. Let's see... About 80 - 100 meters should be good enough for us to see and give some sign to each other when something happens." Cleidious present his scouting strategy.

" Great, that's a good idea. Alright. Let's do this." Replied Mcgreed agreed with Cleidious idea. Then, they begin scouting the area around the camp.

While keeping the distance between themselves, they scout the area without leaving a single trace of them along the pathway. From time to time, they keep an eye on each other for emergency signal or if one of them found anything.

While they scouting the area, reaper, III, and BlackRaven start to set up a camp.

" We should start with a little bit of cleaning before we search for materials. But I don't know how many players that Azlanc and Khelgarr will bring here. Is a camp for 20 people good enough?" reaper hesitantly to make a camp with an unknown number of people who will use the camp.

" Humm... Right now we have 7 players altogether who will definitely use this camp. Let's assume that Azlanc and Khelgarr will bring here at least 2 players each, which will make us 11 players altogether. So let's make it a camp for 11 - 12 people." Suggested III to reaper.

" I see. Alright, let's do that." reaper starting to set up the area for the camp.

" Oh yeah, what should we do about food and water? I mean, we do have food in our inventory but that's not going to last forever right? Plus, food in our inventory can restore HP. It's a waste to use it when we're all already in full HP." said BlackRaven reminding III and reaper about our food supply.

" Oh, for food, we will look for them while searching for materials for the camp, and I already informed scout team to bring back to the camp if they found anything edible." said reaper to reassure BlackRaven about food supply.

" Nice, as expected from camping-master. You work really fast." BlackRaven praise reaper who think ahead of him.

III, BlackRaven and reaper set up a place for a camp that is enough for 12 people. A simple campfire that can keep the coldness of night away and a place to rest their body.

Meanwhile, not far from the forest. There's a small town called Elicia where many merchants, adventurers, travelers, and local people from the nearest village engage in their own personal routine or business.

The usual lively town becomes chaotic when the news of a mountain blown into smithereens reached their ears. It's even more chaotic in the adventurer's guild.

" Guild Master, what should we do!? I never heard or seen a mountain got blown off before. This must be the work of a powerful monster. To be able to destroy a mountain... I-if.. That monster comes to this town, nobody can stop that monster from destroying our town! WE SHOULD EVACUATE EVERYONE IMMEDIATELY!!" said the Vice Leader of adventurer's guild, Luis. He can't imagine what will happen to his beloved town if a monster that powerful start rampaging in Elicia town.

" Calm down Luis! It's not our job to decide whether to evacuate or not. That's the mayor's job to do that. Our job is to investigate and gather any information that can help the mayor to make a decision. Fortunately, we have Mister Hanz, an S-Rank adventurer in this town right now. I'm sure he will be able to help us out... (sigh). For now, let's form a party consist of high-level adventure to investigate this matter with mister Hanz. Other adventurers should make preparation for a battle while C-Rank adventurer and below should go to the town and calm people down." Adventurer's Guild Master, Brian giving out his order to his secretary Lily.

" Yes sir, mister Hanz already gathered his party members right after he confirmed the news and currently on his way to the forest. But sir... " Lily hesitate to report another matter with Brian.

" Hmm? What is it Lily? Is there anything else?" pressed Guild Master Brian to make sure Lily report everything to him.

" Yes. Actually, Black Rose party took a quest to search for a special herb this morning and... The location of their quest is in that forest." Lily hesitantly reported to Guild Master Brian.

" WHAT!!? THAT FOREST IS NOT A PLACE FOR C-RANK PARTY LIKE BLACK ROSE! WHY DID YOU LET THEM TAKE THE QUEST!?" Brian snapped at Lily for letting low-rank adventurers take a dangerous quest.

" I-I'm very sorry sir. It's just that they desperately plead to me to allow them to take that quest because they really need the money. So I thought a simple quest to collect some herb would be okay for them even if it in that forest." said Lily. She feels responsible for what she did.

" Oh, those guys huh? They did say they need money for something before. Don't worry Lily, even though they are C-Rank party but they're experienced adventurer." Luis trying to support Lily.

" Geez, one after another... So!? Where are they now? Are they back yet?" ask Guild Master.

" W-well... They're sti... " Just when Lily try to answer, another report come in.

" REPORTING! Black Rose party just sent an emergency message for Guild Master. Currently, they just got out of the forest and heading back here. They're all okay." the messenger reported to Guild Master.

Upon hearing this news, all three of them felt relief that the Black Rose party is safe.

" Good, is there anything else from Black Rose party?" asked Guild Master, Brian.

" Yes, according to Black Rose party, they encounter an S-Rank monster level above 3000 in the forest." Messenger continues his report.

" WHAT!!? A monster above level 3000!? S-Rank monster is usually between level 1500 - 2000. I never heard of a monster level above 2000, let alone above 3000! This is insane! How can we fight something like this!? Even mister Hanz is only level 1650. DAMN IT! Most likely, this monster must be the one responsible for destroying the mountain." Brian can't believe what he just heard. He can't come up with the solution to this case.

" As I thought we should hurry up and report this to the mayor and start evacuation immediately!" said Vice Guild Master Luis. He wants to put people's safety as a top priority.

" U-umm, sir? Actually that S-Rank monster has already been killed by someone. According to the Black Rose party, that person killed the monster by himself." the messenger reported another unbelievable news.

" Wh-what ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!? THERE'S NO WAY SOMEONE CAN DEFEAT THAT MONSTER!! THAT MONSTER'S LEVEL IS ABOVE 3000 YOU KNOW!!" Guild Master Brian refuses to such convenient news.

" Yes, that's why the Black Rose party sent this message together with this horn as a proof for their report. It's that S-Rank monster's horn." Said the messenger while showing the horn as proof that the S-Rank monster has been killed.

" This is... Lily!" said Guild Master giving the horn to Lily.

" Yes sir, I'll get it to analyze as soon as possible." Lily took the horn and send it to the guild's analyst.

" But who in the world is this guy who defeated this S-Rank monster? Did Black Rose party mention anything else about this guy?" asked Guild Master as he becomes more interested to know this mysterious guy identity.

" No, according to report, a short while after he killed the monster. The mountain blows into pieces and he runs toward the mountain. The Black Rose party unable to pursue him as he was too fast. So the Black Rose party decided to cut off the monster's horn that was killed by this mysterious guy and report this to the adventurer's guild." The messenger ends his report to Guild Master.

" I see. That was a good call to not follow that guy and report it to us. As expected from veteran adventurer. (sigh) With this, we can have a little breath." Said Guild Master as he feels a little relief after hearing the news.

" W-what do you mean by that Guild Master? It's still too early to relax, we still don't know anything about the monster that destroyed the mountain." asked Luis as he confuse why Guild Master feel relief when the problem is not solved yet.

" It's as you said, it's too early to relax but since this mysterious guy headed toward the mountain that was destroyed, he might have solved our problem there. If it was a monster who destroyed the mountain, I'm sure he'll kill that monster. I'm don't if he is our enemy or not but I'm sure every monster is his enemy too. Well, for now, let's wait for the Black Rose party to return and see the result from the analysis." Guild Master gave his speculation and prediction to Luis.

" I see. So that's how it's." Vice Guild Leader Luis feel amazed by the way Guild Master's thinking. It's no wonder that Brian is Guild Master.

Meanwhile, Khelgarr, the one who responsible for blowing up the mountain into pieces...

" Humm... Why did I get the feeling that someone keeps saying that I'm a monster?" Said Khelgarr as he continues searching for other players.
