Chapter 6: Remorse
Nothing... Their search yielded no results. Disappointment filled the air as they realized they were seemingly trapped. "We're stuck! There's no clue or door in sight," Marcus exclaimed in a tone of despair.
We all gathered around the old PC once again, our minds filled with frustration and uncertainty.
Amid our contemplation, Elena broke the silence. "It's strange," she said, her voice tinged with curiosity. "Have you noticed that these large computers don't have any monitors?"
"Yes, and the only 'monitor' we have is this laughing skull with an ancient processor," Marcus grumbled, his frustration still evident from the computer's sluggish performance.
"The CPUs... they have some strange numbers labeled on them. I didn't pay much attention to them before, but now that you mention it, each row seems to have a unique number," I said, leaning in closer to examine the occasional shimmering numbers appearing on the CPUs.
