Dark Fables: Whispers of the Abyss

A mysterious, hazy counter materialized above our heads, its ethereal numbers looming ominously. Simultaneously, something seared letters onto our palms, scorching our flesh with an intense heat. 


Some among us couldn't suppress their screams of agony, while others grimaced, bearing the searing pain with gritted teeth. 


Maya, who chose the sun, had the number '3' above her head with the title “The Solar Embrace.” She was more scared of the number than the name, and she stood still in horror, saying, “What the..." her eyes watering with fear. 


“How the fuck did you know?” Dylan shouted; he had '5' as a number, and his title was "The Rings of Restraint." He stomped his foot and tried to remove the number by aggressively waving his hands, but they went through the alphabet.
