Chapter 9: Echoes

Hmph, Hmph! Marcid puffed his beak in annoyance, circling above the witch's head while she calmly sipped her tea.

“By the way, my name is Illipsia! I’m as close to a fairy as you’ll find!” The pixie floated excitedly near Arsh’s face, far more animated than in the dream state.

“So they do exist?” Arsh replied, intrigued.

“Why, did the witch say we didn’t? Hah!” Illipsia shot a playful glare at the witch. “You can’t just deny us!”
