44. Rebellion from the Past

"Damnation!" Damon's voice echoed off the walls of the hall, making his underlings tremble. "I've had enough of your incompetence." He stared upon them, his eyes glowing like two steely blue orbs that spoke of cruelty. Four commanders knelt at his feet, their head bent low. "She knows everything, Master. She shows up at our doorstep without warning and before we know it, we're being pelted with bullets and bombs. It's as if she had needle marking each of our stronghold across the world."

"Is it my fault then? Is it my fault you lay around the fortresses I've built like hogs waiting for slaughter?"

"No Master, all I'm saying is that she knows too much. It is time rally our forces into one before they dwindle into nothing as she hunts us one by one."

"Are you telling me what to do, Commander?" He said, stepping down towards the man who spoke. The Commander raised his head, not a hint of fear in his eyes.
