Are not there little chapters in everybody's life, that seem to be nothing, and yet affect all the rest of the history?
- William Makepeace Thackeray, Vanity Fair
"When did she build this network of people? How did she find the time for this?" I asked Faith.
"I think...four or five decades ago? Can't be beyond that for sure. It started after she graduated high school and before her marriage, when she was twenty years old."
I didn't want to say anything because I didn't know what to say.
"Clarise once told me that her husband often prompted her to go outdoors and choose candidates by herself." Faith said.
"According to her late husband who was half Spanish, every woman is a queen, but a timid queen in a palace is like a swan in a lake, beautiful but in vain. So he made an extrovert out of our bookish Clarise. It's cool hearing men being extremely supportive of women going out and working for their goals." My mom completed her sentence.
