Ed recognized the rushing woman as the new coach of the cheerleading team.

So she was going to quit too?

While Ed was busy thinking over the fact that perhaps Min shouldn't join this club—Min had already jogged inside the gymnasium with rapid steps.

Ed mentally cursed and quickly followed behind Min.

Min, upon entering the gymnasium, looked around with his puppy-like eyes, finding everything coming to his sight splendid.

The others inside the gym noticed the presence of two new people and turned towards the entrance of the gymnasium.

The first one to come to Ed and Min was a well-versed communicator, who had solely informed the audience of the recruitment notice. The same man who seemed like a playboy and had brazenly displayed his eight packs to the crowd.

Min was surprised to see that the guy in fact was a western guy on closer inspection. But he had nicely spoken in Korean to the crowd.

The guy's eyes caught Ed first. "Ed Lee?"

Ed as usual stood behind Min with his cold face and didn't respond. Ed was familiar with this guy, named Rammick Randall, a foreign transfer and currently the drill captain of the cheerleading team.

Min saw the guy only talking to Ed. The guy was very handsome, almost in a sophisticated way. The blue eyes of the guy resembled oceans, deep blue and clear.

"Sir, I.. I want to join your club," Min said, getting in front of the guy.

Rammick heard the soft-spoken voice and gazed down at the boy who had uttered the words. The boy was short and seemed fragile. But the boy had beautiful looks. "You?"

Min flushed when Rammick's eyes wandered around his figure in a judging manner.

Rammick sighed after examining Min and turned around pointing at the rest of the guys surrounding the gym. "You should think again after I tell you some things."

Min attentively listened to Rammick's words. "I bet you heard about us before deciding to join? Yes, we have a reputation but that's just past events. To be honest our team's on the verge of breaking apart. Coach too is tired of assisting us. We might have to disband at this rate."

The emotions that gathered in Min's heart on hearing the situation weren't good at all.

"You see the members here—most are quitting today." Rammick's voice was sorrowful and filled with slight rage.

Ed from the sidelines watched the members and harrumphed. Of course, those pests will quit. None of them joined the club because of their love for cheerleading but to become popular among the ladies.

Min bit his lips to the extent of feeling painful, his heart not agreeing to give up yet. He just found something he liked. "No. I still want to join."

Rammick was shocked silly at Min's resolute words. How long has it been since he heard one of the teammates speak so determined? Unconsciously, Rammick's gaze strayed towards their captain, Kang Seunghwan.

Seunghwan was sitting nonchalantly on one of the chairs, dabbing his sweat, uncaring of his surroundings.

It was Seunghwan who had kept this club intact with his discipline but with Coaches quitting one after another, the captain too lost all his hope and gave up on reforming the members to a better shape.

Rammick glanced back at the short fellow with a new joy in his eyes. His hand shot out curling around Min's shoulder. "Cool dude. What's the name?"

Min could smell the sweat mixed with axe perfume from Rammick and uncomfortably squirmed. "Choi Kwangmin."

"Mine's Rammick Randall." Rammick grinned.

Then Rammick pulled Min towards Seunghwan with happiness emitting in pink bubbles around him. He was so happy to finally see a genuine member join.

Ed looked around the gymnasium, feeling a bout of nostalgic feelings striking him. The feelings were humiliating, bad, and haunting enough to steal Ed's sleep at night.

Rammick was a decent guy so Ed, without any worries left the gym. Min would be safe here. Ed trusted Rammick. The longer Ed stays here, the longer he will feel suffocating.

Min saw the narrow glances directed towards him and shrunk in Rammick's arms. Those glances made him feel uneasy.

Seunghwan was emotionally drained after Coach Tara scolded them like that and left fuming. Well he cannot blame Miss Tara—the members were too incompetent and after hearing the disgusting discussion of picking girls, she was bound to feel tired. Those bunch of hormonal guys only brought shame to their team.

The prospect of bringing new members too was difficult at this moment. Their team's status had depleted from inside. People still believed their outer reputation but once anybody joins in, they realize that SUAVE is not what the rumors say.

"Captain Kang!" Rammick's excited yell jolted Seunghwan from his thoughts.

Seunghwan was used to Rammick's cheerful personality and hence he didn't look at the guy at once but closed the lid of his water bottle leisurely and wiped the remnants of sweat trickling down his neck with a towel.

"Captain Kang! We have a new member!" Rammick yelled again, now near Seunghwan.

Seunghwan winced at the loud voice but nevertheless looked at Rammick. Rammick was his usual self, smiling brightly but in his arms was someone new.

"This dude is Choi Kwangmin Captain Kang and wow he seemed so passionate about joining our team." Rammick excitedly relayed the details, shoving a tensed Min in front of Seunghwan.

Min squirmed uncomfortably. He was facing the Captain. The most superior figure here among all. Min couldn't look directly at Captain due to his nervousness. .

Seunghwan, just like Rammick, examined Min from head to toe and concluded that Min's fragile figure could be transformed into a well-balanced one—and this Min could possibly become a great top flyer with training.

"Hmm." Seunghwan's deep voice brought shivers to Min's body and Min dauntlessly looked at this Captain. Min's eyes widened. Captain Kang was extremely good looking, giving out the vibes of a drama protagonist.

"If you're sure to join, I'll welcome you." Seunghwan offered his hand to Min.

Min hesitantly shook Seunghwan's hand, feeling the rough texture of Seunghwan's palm. A feeling of belonging suddenly enveloped his senses.

Will this really be the new start Min was wishing for?
