Ever since gates and monsters appeared on Earth so is the people who can fight against them.

Leo, a high school graduate didn't took college, instead ventured on becoming a hunter to support his life and his brother's while looking for his dad.

But life isn't so great for everyone. Leo who had became a hunter found out that he was a 'defected hunter' who can't level up and was ranked as the weakest hunter.

Exhaustion soon rallied down on Leo's body. He felt the burden heavily weighing him down. Therefore, he unmindfully lied on the ground. He heaved a deep sigh and, as he closed his eyes, his mother's face flashed to his mind. 


"I should hurry back to where Mom is, right now! But before that, I need to revive Natalya." He brought her back from the realm of the dead and, she went with him onto where Leo's Mom was staying. 


Mrs. Nicholas had calmed down after Jin reassured her that Leo was safe with all the commotion outside the island. Aophy and the others didn't leave her side just as they were told by Leo. 


"Mom," barged in Leo. "Of course, you're safe and sound." Having Aophy and the other by his mother's side was a huge relief for Leo. "Uh, Mom, this is Natalya. She's one of the participants." 


The fine lady elegantly bowed her head and greeted Mrs. Nicholas. Leo's mother did the same with a sweet smile on her face. A smile, questioning Leo via mother-and-son connection.
