Rise From The Ashes

The griffin also who is known as Kral and the old man now known as Erebos the first demon lord were partners during Erebos's rule they are both now trapped in purgatory suffering eternal torture.

After Luna was told this she was surprised but instantly accepted it and said:

"My life has been weird enough these past few weeks having the first demon lord train me wasn't the weirdest. why did you do all of that for me?"

"As I told Kral I believe that you can do great things. I think you will be the one to unite the two clans once and for all now go, child, be reborn" said Erebos.

"I shall accompany you in your journey as your familiar. I will help you accomplish your destiny," said Kral.

After that luna gets on Kral's back as they fly off for Luna to get through the labyrinth of the phoenix.

Back on the surface, Jessica is telling Max and Lucifer the plan for when Luna gets back to them.

"The demons in the front lines are being massacred so we need to take action and use Luna to win this war," said Jessica.

"We both know that she won't do what we want willingly we have no way of controlling her mind either whats your plan Jessica," said Max.

"We don't need her consent to get her power and use it for ourself we just need a way to transfer it to someone else to make that person stronger. to be able to fight the angels and turn the war around or at least lower the casualties" said Lucifer.

"Well said Lucifer we're going to trap her long enough take her powers and use them to win this war. luckily I have most of the items needed for this back home all I need from you two is cooperation" said Jessica.

Max didn't say anything at the time but he didn't like that idea. He felt like using another person for their benefit without even asking her was unfair and cruel. He also knows that if he fails to follow orders again there would be consequences.

Back with Luna and Kral in purgatory, when they get to the labyrinth they find a barrier blocking them from flying past. When they realize that Luna and Kral go to the entrance of this labyrinth.

When they go past it Luna and Kral come across these magical vines that shoot balls of poisoning energy. When they encounter this Luna conjures a small rusty dagger. Luna uses her rusty blade to slice the vines in half. from that half, the vines grow back and multiply like a hydras head. they keep growing around her trapping Luna inside of a cage made out of these magical vines. Not knowing how to get out of this she remembers her training and manages to get enough energy to cover her small dagger in a black and white flame cutting her way out and disintegrating the vines in the process.

"You have the power to defeat a god yet you have no clue how to control that power. It seems like your power is going to burst out of you. Your aura is going out of control you should rest you've been through enough for one day"

"I think that for the best," said, luna before laying on Kral's soft and fluffy back.

As Kral is taking Luna past the maze he sees what looks to be a man holding a book in his right hand. when he gets closer the book gets a dark purple glow. dark shadowy hands come out of the book and start attacking them.

Kral's eyes have a light yellow glow. His immediate response was to attack the man sinking his teeth beep into the man making a pool of the man's blood on the floor. He rips the man's limbs one by one with his razor-sharp teeth killing the man but not before he was hit by one of his magical attacks. After that Kral takes Luna the rest of the way

"Where am I?" Said Luna when she wakes up the next morning.

She looks around and sees four vine-covered stone walls, dead plants surrounding them, a golden cup with a phoenix carved in the side that is filled to the brim with what looks to be blood.

"What is this? why are you covered in blood?" Said Luna.

"That's not important what's important is that we're here this is the phoenix's shrine. I took the liberty of filling the cup with the blood of a magical beast that's needed for the ritual. Now let's go and leave this place once and for all" said, Kral before coughing blood.

"Are you hurt? What happened? No one told me that we needed to fill a cup with someone's blood" said Luna.

"It's just a scratch. The blood in the cup isn't mine a changeling attacked us so I had to kill him" said Kral.

"Is that why I see blood dripping down your teet. Whats a halfling anyway?" said Luna.

"Trust me you don't want to know they are vicious creatures. we got lucky with that one since it was young and unexperienced" said Kral.

"What do I have to do now to return from the dead?" said Luna.

"All you need to do is put your necklace in the cup. you and only you will be transported back. I will leave you my mark with it you will be able to summon me when needed"

"Your mark?" said Luna in a concerned tone.

She sees Kral disappear before gaining a strange symbol appear in her forearm. Luna drops her necklace into the blood-filled goblet. Then she hears a nostalgic voice saying:

"Luna you can accomplish what great things"

Luna looks back and sees her parent disappear as she feels a chilling wind.

"It's done the trap works its ready for her return," said Max

A bright yellow light appears and they see Luna laying in the ground in front of them. After that, they all see a blueish barrier appear in that burnt room.
