My Little Mate

I was sitting in my room reading a book regarding parenting when I heard a knock on the door. 


"Nikki, someone special has come to visit you," Cole said while peeking inside the room. 


"Who?" I ask while looking at him. He opens the door and moves aside so that I can see the person standing behind him. 


"OH MY GOSH, ALISHA," I yelled in surprise and hurried to get up to greet my best friend. 


"Easy there, woman," Cole shouted and rushed to help me to get out from the bed. I sign her to come closer and embrace her in a tight hug. Or should I say tried to hug her? But my big bump comes between us. She laughs and hugs me from the side.
