Chapter 17 - His Lips Grazed Hers

"Where are we going?" Daisy asked as she and Zen told her to pack some things.

"To somewhere."

"Where? Tell me, please!"

Zen just kept quiet and was busy packing his pieces of stuff too. Every now and then he touched his cell phone as if he had important things to do. Meanwhile, Daisy just scowled because she was still annoyed with Zen for an impromptu proposal that she didn't even know about.

After their pieces of stuff were finished packing, Zen then drove his car with Daisy at his side. They dissolved into silence so Daisy chose to play a song on her cellphone with a headset plugged into her ear.

Zen glanced at Daisy who was enjoying the song on her own cellphone. He even heard Daisy singing sometimes without realizing it. It made Zen smile wide.

Asking Daisy to go was an event that Zen had wanted for a long time. Every now and then he wanted to make Daisy happier than usual. Besides, Zen wants to win Daisy's heart so that she really falls in love with him. Because in the last few days Daisy has been much more obedient than usual.

A large villa stretched out in front of Daisy when the car stopped. "Wow!" Daisy gasped at the sight in front of her. The large villa towers over the lake. The air was cool but cold, so she had to wear jacket.

"Come on," said Zen opening the passenger door for Daisy to get out.

For a moment, Daisy forgot about her annoyance at Zen. She came out with a smile and looked around. Then Zen guided Daisy to enter the villa immediately.

"You rented this place?" Daisy asked. Zen felt a little insulted when Daisy said about 'rent', even though the question just came out of Daisy's mouth without her knowing the truth.

"My villa," Zen answered flatly.

Daisy covered her mouth with her hands. She stared at Zen, tilting her head like a startled child. Zen couldn't help but smile in amusement at Daisy's reaction.

"I forgot that it's impossible for a billionaire to rent a villa. Wow!"

Zen just shook his head. He then put their stuff in and put them in the living room.

For several hours, Daisy was busy wandering around the villa. Luckily around the villa, it is not too quiet. There are other villas that do have contents.

Meanwhile, Zen is still busy with his laptop. He still works even though he is on vacation like now. Until he realized that he had not seen Daisy enter the villa. Zen also stopped his activities and intended to go out to find Daisy.

He saw Daisy talking with a smile to a guy who didn't know who he was from a distance. Until Zen finally got a little closer, he knew the guy.

Devan, his father's stepchild.

Zen cursed before he approached Daisy. It did not occur to him that Devan would be around his villa. What Zen knows, Devan lives abroad and rarely comes home. But what Zen saw right now, really drew his jealousy out.

"Daisy," Zen called closer.

Devan notices Zen's presence. He was surprised, while Zen was already surprised. Both of them have a very fierce enmity.

Daisy turned from her smiling face to somber. "What is it?" As if Zen's presence bothered him, he pulled Daisy's hand closer.

"Come on, come in," said Zen turning around.

"Finally I meet you too here, Zen?" said Devan voiced. Zen and Daisy's steps stopped. Daisy was of course confused by the way Devan greeted Zen. He must have thought the two of them knew each other.

"You two know each other?" Daisy asked the two of them.

Zen was silent. He chose to keep Daisy's hand, away from Devan. Zen didn't even answer Devan's words. He didn't want Daisy to be close to his father's stepchild. Besides jealousy, Devan also has a dark side.

"What's wrong?!" Daisy asked releasing Zen's grip when they were inside the villa.

"I don't want you to see him again."

"You two know each other, right? Who is he? And why can't I meet him? The villa is next to yours, Zen, there's no way-"

"Shut up! Tonight, we're going back to the apartment!" Zen snapped at Daisy. Daisy was surprised when Zen snapped at her quite loudly. She didn't even move at all. Daisy let Zen who packed all the things until finished, he grabbed Daisy's hand, and put her in the car.

Before getting into the car, Zen saw Devan watching him. Zen intends to get into the car, he backs off and approaches Devan. "Stop trying as if you can be above me, Van!" threatened Zen.

"Oh, wow! Even now your actions are as if you are trying to get over me," said Devan calmly.

"She's mine! You can't claim everything I have is yours! It's enough when I'm with Kanya, you enter into that relationship!" obviously Zen tried to remind the past that he had forgotten, now he remembered again as a reminder for Devan.

Devan chuckled. His eyes looked at Daisy, where Daisy's face looked flat in front of him. "We'll see," Devan replied then left Zen-like an idiot.

Zen's hands clenched into fists. He finally got into his car and headed back to his apartment. No talking on the way. Zen knows Daisy is angry and upset with him. But he left Daisy-like that until he managed to find a way to explain it to Daisy.

Devan's words echoed in Zen's head. He doesn't know what Devan will do when he finds out about Zen who already has a replacement. Anxiety flashed on Zen's face.

Every now and then Daisy glanced at Zen where Zen's face was much tenser. The driving speed is also very fast, making Daisy a little cringe. That's what made Daisy glance at him.

"If you're angry, you shouldn't be on a street like this! You're just looking for death!" Daisy exclaimed without turning to Zen.

Zen didn't lookup. He then just slowed down and adjusted the rhythm of his breathing. Until finally Daisy realized, this road is not the road to her apartment. She doesn't know where Zen took Daisy, but what is clear is that their place is still around the villa, only a little far away and surrounded by many towering trees.

Daisy thought that Zen was going to the apartment as he said. But it didn't. Zen stopped at the edge of the forest. His breath was as if someone had just chased him. Sighing and looking straight ahead.

"What is it?" Daisy asked, starting to get a little scared.

"I need this," Zen said then grabbed Daisy and kissed her lips suddenly.

At first, Daisy was surprised and refused. But Zen's two hands on her jaw made her reluctant to let go. Until finally Daisy tried to accept. Zen's lips grazed hers, his tongue poked into Daisy's mouth, asking for more and dancing there.

"Zen..." she whispered.
