Chapter 25

Yuriko, Aki, and Ayano had arrived at the beach
"There's a lot of people"
"At least, it's not crowded"
"Have you two passed the sunscreen already?"
"Ah! Yes, we did"
"Then you two can go ahead, I'll go find a good spot to put down our stuff"
" "Okay!" "
Aki and Ayano then removed their shirts and shorts and passed them to Yuriko, then they both ran towards the sea
"*Sigh* Good grief, those two are always full of energy"
Yuriko had a small smile as she looked at her two childhood friends acting like children, then she went to find a good spot to put down everything she was carrying, and after a minute or so she found a good spot under a sunshade that belonged to the inn they were staying
"This is a good spot... *Takes out a big towel from the bag and puts it down* Phew... Today is really hot"
Yuriko who was still wearing her parka couldn't help but feel hot, though it was still less than what her friends were feeling, and they also had quite a good resistance to the heat
"... Whew... I guess I'll go join those two on the sea"
Yuriko got up and removed her parka and mini shorts, revealing her sports swimsuit and perfect body curves, and differently from the two she did some light stretching before going into the sea
"Now, I'm good to go"
She removed and put her sunglasses inside her bag, and went to join her friends in the sea
"I'm here!"

"What's wrong?"

The two gave up on praising Yuriko's looks, and just decided to have fun, but...
Somewhat earlier at another spot of the beach
"Everyone... Welcome! To the beach where our dreams will become true!"

"Huh? I'm feeling way better, than before
"See, guys? Even the grumpiest one has gotten less grumpy"
It was the Yamada-Daichi gang, and everyone was in very high spirits, aside from Daichi, to woo some girls and women
"Okay, before we do anything let's make a route plan so that we won't fight for the same girl"
"Yeah, I agree"
"Me too"
"Me three"
"Do we really need to?"
"Yes. Now, how about you three go left, while I and Daichi go right?"
"Why do we three go to the left?"
"Because there's more beach to the left than to the right"
"I see! You're a great man, Yamada helping us instead of giving yourself the advantage"
"Of course, bros before hoes"
Yamada was a shameless guy when it came to anything that involved girls, and he would do anything to increase his chances of getting a girl, even if he had to sacrifice the chances of his friends getting one
"Then everything is settled, right?"

"Then let's meet in front of the entrance of the Inn's beach bar"

And three friends went to the left in high spirits
"... Go! Go! Go!"
Yamada quickly pushed Daichi to get out of where they were standing before the other three found out they were tricked. And after a few minutes of walking Yamada and Daichi arrived at the place Yamada wanted to start his search
"Alright, man. Time to have you experience your youth while you can, so let's try to find some good girls for you to talk with"
"... Okay?"
"Good now let's see what can I find for you"
Yamada then appraised his surroundings to find a good start for Daichi, and his eyes landed at an orange-haired and a Purple-reddish haired girl who were playing together in the sea
"Alright, I want you to go and try to talk to those two girls over there"
"Haa... Fine"
And Daichi stepped forward towards the two girls, but then a certain grey-haired girl with a ponytail style came into their view, it was Yuriko, and she approached the two girls and talked to them
"Crap, we need to go somewhere el-... You idiot! What're you doing!?"
When Yamada tried to make Daichi go to another place when he noticed Yuriko, he saw that Daichi was already far from him and getting closer to Yuriko and the two girls
Yamada made a run with his tail between his legs before Daichi could bomb his chances of getting a girl to zero. And Daichi who kept going towards Yuriko called for her when he got close enough to her
Slightly earlier at another place closer to where Yuriko was
"Gah! So hot!"
Himari sat down on the towel that her friend had put down under a sunshade, and drank a lot of water
"Oh yeah... You're weak to the heat, right? Sorry, for bringing you here"
"No need... But how can you act all normal under this killing heat?"
"I'm used to it"
"... Are you even human?"
"Of course, I am! Anyway, want to go play in the sea?"
"Yes! Please!" *Eyes shining*
And everyone patted Himari on the head with happy smiles
"Don't treat me like a kid!"
"Yes, yes. Will you come with us too?"
"Nah, I'm going to make a great sandcastle"
"Okay, and what about you?"
"I'm fine, I don't really like the sea, I just wanted to use my new swimsuit on a beach"
"Okay... Then, I guess it's just you and me, Himari-chan"
"Yes!"
And Himari's friend patted Himari's head once again
"Don't treat me like a kid, Sara!"
"Yes, yes. Let's go to the sea"
Himari's friend's full name was Ito Sara. And the two had gone to play in the sea and they kept playing until Himari heard a very familiar voice
"I'm here!"
"!?"
Himari turned her head to where the voice had come from and she saw Yuriko
"Sara, change of plans"
"Hm?"
"ORAAAA! UWAAA*glub glub glub*! *Splat splat splat*"
Himari tripped and fell into the water as she tried to run towards Yuriko, and Sara had to pull her back up
"Goheh! *Coff coff coff*"
"Do you want me to accompany you?"
"Yes, please"
Himari had to go towards Yuriko while holding hands with Sara to prevent her from tripping again, and when they got close enough Himari called for Yuriko
"Ah! Forget it, let's just make sure to get the most of our time on the beach until lunchtime!"
" "Yeah!" "
"Prez. Yuriko-san!"
"Prez. Nanami-san!"
"*Gasp* *Wakes up*... ... ... Uuuugh... What time is it now? *Check the phone clock*... ... ... For how long and when did I fell asleep?"
It was lunchtime, and Takeru had taken an unexpected nap of around 4 hours on the inn floor
"... I guess, I'll go have lunch in a nearby restaurant"
Takeru got up and picked everything that he needed, and left his inn room. As for what happened to Yuriko, Himari, and Daichi, that'll be answered in the next chapter
