Dante

Dante was the star running back for Hope High School. He had the most points and running yards in the conference. He was also the best defensive player on his team. Everyone praised him for being the best and Dante loved the attention. He kept up with his popularity as much as he could by getting sacks and interceptions in all of his games. After his last game he was home with his family being normal like any other family. His mom was cooking a turkey and told Dante to watch the food. Dante was super tired and told his sister and brother to watch the turkey while he slept.

Dante woke up to his brother and sister screaming with the smell of smoke. He bolted up towards the kitchen and saw that it was on fire. He hurried to get his brother and sister out as the fire grew more out of control. As he rescued his brother and sister parts of the house caved in and the entire house was on fire by this time. He went back inside to get his dog, but got trapped off by a beam that was on fire. Blocking the only path he had towards an exit Dante broke through the beam while getting engulfed by flames.

By the time Dante got to exit he was stuck on a metal rod, so he decided to toss the dog out of the house and was now trapped inside. By the time his mom was home she was standing there in tears thinking that he was dead. After the fire was over the house collapsed on to Dante and he was found unconscious.
