Chapter  10 - Knock at The Devil's Door .

Few days After the training ,variys decide that it's Time to Head out & face valerya Instead of waiting for her to make a surprise attack , he will charge at her alongside with Celestine , Naomi , cana , shizone , William and The Holly Knights Of Darc

Each one of them has his own reason to go Against Valerya . After all she controlled most of them and made them hurt other people over their own will so it's safe to say that they hold more than a Grudge towards her .

On their way variys explain That she probably has something under her sleeves . Who know what she is capable of . Things Can go sideways really fast so they should be ready for anything .

after few days of Travel & Going Over The Mountains , Faced By Some Beats & Monsters That weren't even a match for this New Team , they reached an open Grass Green Space behind the forest and the High Mountains. William tells them That they are here .

" Is this a joke ... This is an empty field " said cana .

" Maybe we made a wrong turn or something "

" no we are in the right place . I Can feel it " stated variys

Shizone explain That she Can feel it too . some sort of a dark aura is forming around the field .

" what does this mean variys kun ?! "

" It's probably Magic . She is using a spell That Can hide her castle "said variys .

" which mean That .... Don't tell me we are already in!!! " Said Celestine in surprise

' this is Bad . I already knew That she Was Powerful , but her Magic is covering a whole castle . There is no telling what the limits of her power truly is. i have to move carefully . ' thought variys to himself as He takes 2 steps forward then suddenly freeze .

The girls ask him if there is something wrong but he doesn't reply , he just stood there looking like he saw a ghost . they ask Again but same . No answer. it's like he is witnessing something that they don't .

Celestine walks towards him in worry & as she reaches him she froze too .

Following her Word , the group stepped forward and suddenly the view change . Seconds ago they were in a big green open Space yet now they are inside a large dark hall with status of knights & monster all around it .

" we are inside ?! Impossible !!! 'said shizone.

" it's a trap !! , can't we go back . " " it's no use , she had us the moment we stepped in ." replied William

" Be careful . We don't know from Where she will attack !!" said variys

" don't worry … . I'm not in a hurry " Replied a Voice in the hall

" Valerya ishigar !! " as Variys said That she shouted " that's correct !! The One & Only Queen Of The Darkness " crows swarmed the hall, Everyone Gets ready for a fight forming a circle to cover each other's back . as the flock of birds centered in the hall forming a human figure And soon after emerged valerya .

" That's her !? " said Celestine and William alongside with shizone confirms it " Yeah "

They stared at her nervously for a moment all while having their guard's up for any sneaky attacks . yet she just stood there looking down on them .

" I'm almost amazed That you made it this far . I honestly never thought That you will survive . It's just show how weak my subordinate used to be . nonetheless , I gotta Say it was fun watching your little battles . It's like watching a kids wrestling match . So what brings you to my humble home . "

Soon enough after that last enchant black liquid started flooding the whole room Taking out everything there with no exceptions including variys and the others .

They tried to fight & counterattack by Throwing spells at it but no use . it didn't matter what magic element they used , something about that black water was off .

" shit ... Magic doesn't work ....This dark liquid ... Just what the Hell is this ... " said variys before the black swamp reached him & pulled him down drowning , the last thing he saw was Celestine hand trying to reach for his but he couldn't reach back instead he kept submerge while hearing the girls calling for his name soon afterward everything went pitch .

Few Moments Later Variys Wakes up gasping in panic while coughing the dark water " What the Hell happened .Where am I ? .... Everyone... !! "

" I don't think they Can hear you . " said a voice , He looks up to see Her sitting on her throne waiting for him .

" Valerya .... What did you do ? Where are we ... Where are the girls ?!! "

" For someone in your position you surely seem to ask a lot of question . We are in the main hall . since You are the group Leader , i thought That you are the only one worthy of being in the same room as me . "

" I had my eyes on you ever since you defeated those worthless bandits .... And i enjoyed watching you taking down William and the Knights . variys immediately realized That he was in big trouble after he tried to back off but couldn't as now he is now unable to move to move ….

suddenly , a Huge lightning bolt came down from the roof hitting variys on the spot as valerya jumped back to dodge it.

' Ughhhh .. what happen ... did someone attacked me , no that wasn't it . Don't tell me ... This man , he attacked himself with his own Spell !!!! . '

" Sit next to you on the throne you said ... ?

" I'm sorry , but I'm planning to taking That throne all for Myself !! " he said with a grin making her fume in rage as crimson aura started divulging from her body .

" You Damned Demon ! . How dare you talk to me like That ... I was planning on using you to my expense , but now this castle will be your grave . Die !! "

Shouts valerya seething with anger as she attacks him but he doesn't back down instead he rushed forward as well followed by the two of them clashing with all their might .

Somewhere else in the castle . Celestine is waking up to her sister voice shouting

she open her eyes slowly while turning around sideways only to see cana, Shizone , William and the 3 Knights fighting against a huge crowd of people who looks like zombies , it was clear from the start that they were all being controlled Same as William back then .

Celestine is in startle by the scene she just woken up too as she turned Asking

" What's happened ?? .... Where are we ! "

" It Was valerya's doing ... After That dark spell we all found ourselves here . Soon After these brainless people just kept coming for us .

" No way .... Variys sama ... Where is variys sama . ??! "

" We got separated from him ....my Guess is That he is going up Against valerya "

" He is facing her alone ... He is not That powerful Yet ..We have to Help him ?? "

The controlled people are not That strong compared to all their power combined but still , there is way too many …

Zafir noticed them running off and lift his hammer Again to strike William down only to be hit with a lightning bolt from aside followed by a blazing fire shot sending him crashing clearing the path for them . Yet he immediately stand UP Roaring in anger .

" We are your opponent Zafir !!! You will not leave this room no matter what." Stated Miliodas as he Stood up fearlessly next to everyone Against The Monster.

Back On the throne room , variys is fighting valerya using full force But she counter attack any spell he throws at her .

" Thunderbolt !! "

" Black sand rebellion !! "

" Infigar !! "

" Black Water of The Damned" " TEMPEST !! " he chanted Blasting her with a raging gale of wind , yet once again She dodges his attack Vanishing with no trace only to reappear behind him.

" Damn . she's way to fast .! "

" You honestly think you Can defeat me with these low rates Magic spells … Dark Fire Magic : Flames of the Underworld !!! " She Shouted while firing an immense amount of black flames , sending him away shattering the wall to pieces .

' damn it.... I'm almost out of Magic Power . And she doesn't seem to even broke a sweet . Using this type of Magic It's like child's game to her . So i need to change my fighting style . ' he thought to Himself as he was bleeding and Taken a lot of damage, still he can't just give up instead He pulls out his light Sword .

" Hiiiih . So you decided to pull away more Toys. Let me Guess, you think just Because you have a holly item . You Can take me down , just to let you know holly items are not that powerful when used by demons " she said laughing arrogantly as A dark Magic spell is drawn under her feet .

Variys can't see clearly what is going on as the whole room is trembling & being covered in dark mana , immediately realizing That he is now in Big trouble .

" He Now Can't even move a muscle from the huge power coming out right in front of him Forming a devilish Figure & From the Black Smoke Appeared Valerya in her Brad New Powered Up Matte Black Armor with spikes striking out of her shoulders . & if that wasn't enough to send a bad vibes towards Variys , she is now holding a Long Crimson Spear as her chosen Weapon of combat . she was hard To Defeat Moments ago , But now she seem to be Rather unvanquished . looking down at him with an evil chuckle .

" fufufufu Now you know the difference between us …. Look at me & feast your eye. This is How a true Demon Lord looks like ... This is what true power is Despair . Fear . Pain . My Armor collects all the black aura around to me. This is my strongest weapon , You have no chance of standing against me , Kneel to me variys , Become my soldier and give in to me . Or Fight and die !!."

He stood silent for a moment then looked back at her with a beaten up Look on his Face simply saying

Shouted Valerya as she attacked him Outraged by his insults but he doesn't Run instead he grips on his Sword and charged back at her with all the leftover power that he have . not knowing how he will defeat her or how to survive this battle , bbut giving up is simply not an option For This Demon Lord ….
