Rogue attack

Nathan POV

It's been a couple of days since the babies and Payton have been home and we've started to get into our own little routine. Chloe helps Payton with feeding and changing in the morning before she goes to training. Me and Jamie then attend to our Alpha business while Payton takes a nap. As Payton wakes up Chloe comes home and then she spends the day with Payton, Payton home schools her when the kids go down for there naps.

When me and Jamie get home we take over the kids so Payton can do her private training with Chloe. Which we can all tell she has missed. At the moment I have little Michael in my arms as I'm standing at the door watching my Luna and Chloe training the yard.

Chloe throws a punch which Payton easily dodges, she pushes Chloe a little, which causes her to trip and she lands on the floor hard. "Watch your feet Chloe." She says in her Luna voice, making Chloe listen to her demand. She nods her head and get back up, they repeat the same routine again this time Chloe places one foot behind the other stopping herself from falling. Regaining her balance she throws another punch towards Payton, she dodged it again and drops low to the floor, she swings her leg round as she try's to take out Chloe's legs.

Chloe jumps dodging the moves and lands firmly on her feet. She flips and lands right in front of Payton, this time Payton laughs and grabs her wrist. Twisting her around and putting her in a choke hold, Chloe taps out on her arm as Payton lets go off her hold. Gasping for breath Chloe try's to stand up straight to look at Payton, before she can speak Payton puts her hand up in front her stopping her from speaking. "You did extremely well Chloe I'm so proud of you, just don't show off as much." She says giggling at the end. "Right wolf time now." She says preparing to take her attack stance, I smirk knowing no one can beat my girl, Chloe quickly shifts into her small brown wolf with white paws, she's a lot faster now as she's been practicing a lot.

As I turn To face Payton in the moonlight stands my beautiful Luna in her wolf form, causing my heart to skip a beat and for me to remember the first time I saw her like that. She made my heart skip a beat then as well, I smiled. Chloe advances forward to Payton which she easily dodges just by stepping away, Chloe begins to circle her waiting for the opportunity to pounce. Payton watches her every move, Chloe pounces and Payton pushes her out the way with her head, making Chloe crash to the ground with a thud. Payton turns and stares at Chloe as she gets back up, Payton's head lifts up and her ears begin to glow. She lets out a piercing howl as she begins to growl into the forest. I mind link her 'what's going on my love.' I ask as I look into the same direction she is staring at. 'Rogues' she says before darting off.

I take a huge sniff not smelling nothing as I look over at Chloe I have realised she has changed back to human form and is putting a long top over herself. "Follow her now." She shouts at me as she takes Michael out of my arms. Quickly shifting into wolf form I chase my mate scent, Trip runs as fast as we could until we are hit with a very strong smell. 'Blood' I say as trio begins to growl. We pick up our speed as we get closer to the smell, we begin to smell our mate as we get closer, her white fur is now stained in blood.

She is surrounded by twenty dead rogues. 'What happened?' I growl through our mind link. As Payton turns around I notice that her eyes are glowing, my wolf begins to bow as she shifts into her human form. 'Trip what's happening.' I ask as my stomach twists in panic. 'Her powers have took over she needs to know we are not a threat.' He calmly says as he begins the lower himself more to the ground. I try to mind link her again, 'Payton my love it is me Nathan.' I calmly say. She growls loud, making all the trees surrounding us shake. I then do the only thing I can think of, it may be crazy but I didn't know what else to do, I change back into my human form.

Payton POV

I quickly shift into my Lily as Chloe shifts into Scarlett. She quickly try's to advance on me but I step out the way dodging it I mind link her, 'rule one.' I yell. 'Don't bring emotions into a fight.' She shouts back. She begins to circle me, 'and why's that?' I ask staring back at her. 'It will get you killed.' She growls back as she pounces at me. I push her down with my head making her land on the floor with a thud. I turn to face her staring at her while she gets up. 'Rule two.' I growl when she is finally back on her paws.

She begins to answer when I begin to hear a snap in the trees, my ears begin to glow and my hearing intensifies. 'What was that Lily.' I ask as I look into the woods. 'What's going on my love.' Nathan mind links me. 'Rogues' Lily growls answering us both as we bolt towards the forest. 'Chloe keep my pack and children safe, you are prepared for this' I mind link her as we enter the forest. Running as fast as we can towards the sound we begin to get waft of there scent. 'I smell at least 20' I say to Lily. She lifts her head up and sniffs the air, 'there is 25 to be exact.' She answers back with a growl.

We run forward and jump into the centre of them surprising them all, they didn't expect a wolf to jump in the middle of three and they especially didn't expect to see one alone. 'What the hell are you doing here.' I force a mind link. 'How are you doing that,' a rogue answers. Lily zones in on the rogue and takes a deep breath in, she blows air at him but, for some reason it has more force and blows him straight into a tree, snapping his neck instantly. They all look at me shocked as they begin to growl. 'This is the last time I ask this what the hell are you doing here.' I shout through the mind link causing most of the rogues to whimper as I took my attack stance. 'W..we was told to come here.' The one rogue answers.

Lily zones In on him pinning him to the ground. She begins to snarl in his face showing all her teeth. 'Who told you.' She growls her saliva dripping in his face. 'I don't know.' He whimpers. 'Wrong answer ' I thought as Lily ripped his throat out. She turns to face the rest of them. 'Who' she growls looking at every single one. None of them answers her, causing her to growl louder. Her paws and ears begin to glow bright blue now as she stares down at all the rogues, they all begin to lift in the air, going higher and higher. When Lily closes her eyes they all drop to ground killing them all instantly. My ears perk up as I hear a snap behind us, Lily turns to face it. "Well my little mate, that was something to see." A unknown figure begins to say as he walks closer to us.

I let out a growl telling him to back away. "It's ok my love now that you have had them brats I will make you mine." He says as he blows dust into my face. I blink and he's gone, my vision begins to blur and I try to blink the dust out my eyes, but I can't. I begin to whimper as my eyes begin to burn, 'what's happening.' I say to lily. 'I don't know.' She says as if she struggling. 'What's happened.' I heard Nathan growl through our mind link as I turn around. 'I can't control anymore.' Lily says as a sudden wave of energy fills us causing me to shift into my human form.

I feel like I'm locked outside my own body as I watch Nathan now in his wolf form to me. 'Payton my love it is me Nathan' he calmly says through our mind link causing me to growl at him, all the trees surrounding us begin to shake. My eyes look down at him as if they will turn him to ash any second, I close my eyes and when I open them Nathan is stood there in human form.

Shocking me that he has done that he takes the opportunity to walk towards me. As he reaches me he quickly pulls me into a tight hug, I begin to feel the energy drain from my body as he stands there hugging me tighter and tighter, refusing to let me go. As I blink rapidly the burning sensation stops in my eyes and I begin to calm down. 'What happened.' Nathan whispers into my ear bringing me back to reality. Shaking my head confused I bury my head into his chest.
