Thief

I am back! Sorry about the few days quiet.

When Onicent and Airabella found out what Feia had done they ordered her back home immediately. Onicent was in a number of ways proud of his daughter, he felt she had shown her strength through her actions. Airabella on the other hand was horrified. She insisted to Onicent that if the village had belonged to another god, there would have been trouble. Fortunately the village had been unclaimed and therefore no angry sibling came to the palace seeking vengeance. On the other hand, Feia's attack sowed more fear and respect for the ruling family. And so Airabella was out ruled.

Meanwhile, Amos continued to be confined to the palace for his misdeeds. He had began to work on a creation. Amos took some of the metal that had forged his sword and sculpted it into a covering, which he called armour. He crafted a beautiful helmet for himself as well as a chest plate. His children also found themselves confined. Vown was relatively quiet and well behaved and so he mostly lived within the castle, uncomplaining. However Amos's younger daughter, a girl named Balyn took after him. She ran about the castle causing chaos, she screamed at her aunts and uncles and broke decorations when she pleased.

At last the King and Queen grew tired of this. Airabella suggested to Ilo and Amos that the girl was growing far to wild and suggested teaching her a more docile skill.

Amos grumbled but was forced to agree to it, and so Balyn was put to painting with Feia.

Feia took Balyn out into the garden and showed her how to gather dyes and make a canvas out of wool. Balyn was impatient though, so while Feia painted careful stroke, Balyn splashed and slashed dye across her canvas and when she got more frustrated she ripped the canvas to pieces.

Feia instructed her that she should be more gentle, but upon hearing that Balyn grew with anger and torn Feia's own painting to pieces as well. This made Feia angry and before long Airabella arrived and told Balyn off sternly forcing her to clean the mess she had made.

Feia refused to allow Balyn to work with her again.

The next day Balyn tempted one of Enisia's wolves out into the garden and set it upon Feia's beautiful sheep. The wolf naturally ate most of the sheep before anyone could stop it.

When Onicent came Balyn was standing in a pile of wool, a smile stretched across her face.

It was true Onicent did like his son, but his love of his daughters artwork drove Onicent into a rage. He shouted at Balyn furiously that she should be confined to her room from that time forth.

Balyn was even less happy stuck in her room. Her mind turned over revenge. It was one night she got the perfect idea. As her mother and father slept she crept out of the room and down to the thrones. Hanging there was the tapestry of the family. As if hypnotized Balyn stared at it and a smile spread across her face again. Without thinking she slashed out each of the faces, being extra careful to eliminate the King and Queen. When she was done the painting was in tatters.

When she took a step back it occurred to her that she would be punished worst. She was tired of her imprisonment. Her mind fell on its decision as she walked away, for below her she heard the roaring screams of the King and Queen as they discovered what she had done.

Her mother and father still lay asleep in their bed. Careful not to wake them Balyn stole her fathers armour and sword. She considered her mothers belt, but decided against it. With her anger she needed not beauty. With her fathers treasures she jumped out the window and ran down the mountain into the forest.
