Gathering and organizing her thoughts, still slightly confused as to where she was, she suddenly recalled a memory in which an exited lizard described a place like this "huh… so, this is the logic continuum, phu-hahaha, I can just imagine Alphonse jealousy, hmm… but I'm still not supposed to be here. Then everything went to shit… they seemed extremely aggravated, we were constantly running, trying to figure what those things were, somehow followed our trail to different realities, and then somehow it just blew up to a full scale war, we managed to get the help of shinobi, pirates, and even the Shinigami of soul society. Then… then, there were losses, we had to flee from all three worlds, we set up a temporary camp, and found a futuristic data center nearby, it housed data concerning the Architects, that's when we finally found out what we were fighting against, the Corruption. Going through all the data there we came up with a semi-reliable plan, find the so called Zohar of our sector, and get it working again, yeah turns out the database shows a lot more information than it probably should, turns out the Corruption managed a method to halt the Zohar's functioning. The idea was to destroy the thing stopping the Zohar, simple right, well that's the easy part, the hard part was going in hoping to god that somehow if we freed the Zohar everything would be good, that things would work themselves out, at the very least, we theorized that the Zohar should be capable of some kind of temporal manipulation. I suppose being delegated the honor of allowing the Zohar to interface with my mind in order to figure out what the next part of the plan is, was as much a blessing as much as it was a curse, at the least, it meant my assured survival until I met the Zohar. I'm still not exactly sure if I'm alive or not though, it felt like my perception of time slowed, I felt my mind being ripped apart piece by piece, slowly, it felt like I was experiencing that torture for years, when I obviously didn't, but... what happens now... this wasn't planned." Unknowingly muttering her thoughts aloud, to her hand stoking her chin in a thinking posture, she jumped in surprise as a quietly listing bystander interjected.

Our still unnamed protagonist quietly taken aback by this rather outlandish new information, silently sorts through her thoughts 'though I suppose I can't really say its too far from the trend my life has taken recently. It honestly might be the better option too, especially if it gets rid of the corruption, were barely able to hold a defense against their massive numbers, we'd be overwhelmed sooner or later.' Deciding to voice a few questions our protagonist asks the mechanical soul "So this Ouroboros Protocol its supposed to completely destroy the corruption, right? Isn't that a good thing…? Though, I suppose having multiple realities merge must mess up a few things." In a much more human tone, like that of a middle-aged woman, the disembodied mechanical soul manages to convey the surprise she feels at the response "W-whaaa… r-really, shouldn't you be against the protocol, I expected you to have some misgivings about such a thing. Though, I suppose due to the protocols nature of basically being a big important reset button, there isn't really anything truly bad about it, after all the corruption doesn't target souls, and since the souls remain in this sector after death, it's easy to gather them with the protocol.
