Chapter 15

THE FIGHT

I wake up to the sun blinding me and the ringing of my phone alarm, wait a minute I didn't remember putting that on before I went to bed… hmmm strange. I sit up and look around the beautiful room that is my bedroom until Christian finds his sister. I then look on the bedside table and grab my phone to stop the ringing and to my surprise there's someone calling me on the front screen it says in bold letters, 'PRIVATE NUMBER' okay well that's weird but I shrug it off and press the answer button and say in the phone "Hello Grace Rose speaking." I then hear some muffling sounds and then Rey's frantic voice "GRACE! Help me please! I've been kid…." I then hear someone slap her hard across the face which leads to her sobbing. Then all of a sudden I hear a familiar voice saying "Hey Grace sorry about that the little twerp won't shut the hell up. Anyway down to business I've guessed you've figured out that I've kidnapped Jackson's bitch of a little sister. And I was��" I stop him right there by saying "DON'T YOU DARE CALL HER THAT SHE'S NOT A BITCH YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S THE ASSWHOLE!" I then hear him laugh and say "Grace like always you get down straight to the point of the matter but let me tell you this, would you like to see Renessme ever again? And by the way it's Michael here, and if you do want to see Renessme ever again you will meet me at the cemetery grounds where your true parents lay. Come alone and don't tell anyone where you're going and if you do the little bitch here gets it. I hope you make the right choice Grace for Renessme's sake and let's hope that you come sooner rather than later." And with that the phone line goes dead and I look at it in complete shock and sadness. That's it looks like I'm paying my parent's grave a visit.

As I'm getting everything ready for my immediate departure there's a knock on the door that makes me jump I then hear Sawyer's voice "Miss Luna, are you awake?" Miss Luna what the? Oh I forgot they have to call me either Miss Rose or Miss Luna, I guess Sawyer feels more comfortable with calling me Miss Luna than the other one. I say "Yea Sawyer I'm coming out I just need to finish getting dressed and I'll be right out." "As you wish Miss Luna." "Sawyer one more thing before you leave." "Yes Miss Luna." "All the staff, security and pack are allowed to call me Luna or Grace whichever one, except for Teyah and her boyfriend, okay." "As you wish Miss…. I mean Luna." And with that he heads down the stairs. I then grab my phone and jacket and jump out the window to one of Christian's Audi SUV's, I don't know why he needs so many danm cars I mean, isn't one enough? But nooo Mr Moneybags over here needs 10 danm fricken cars, plus his own Audi R8.

SHIT!! Crap! Why didn't I just walk? Instead I chose the stupid idea of me behind a danm wheel of an Audi SUV risking my life and everybody else's on the fucking road. FUCK! NOT AGAIN! I scream out to the car I nearly just ran over "SORRY!" The middle aged man just puts up the rude finger at me and mutters something like "Danm teenagers and their stupid ass driving." And might I say there were at least three young kids only about age 2- 4 years of age in the backseat. I mean inappropriate behaviour for a danm father. The next thing that happens in the car before it goes out of sight is the woman hitting the man over the back of the head and all the kids laughing at the dad. He deserved it! Well done woman!

Finally! I've reached the cemetery! And just remind me never go in a car ever again and if I do make sure Christian is there or he teaches me how to drive. I know exactly where I'm going, back of the cemetery here I come. As I'm walking to my parent's graves I feel like I'm being watched. Then out of nowhere I see Michael come out of the woods with a limp and ashen body in his arms I then realise with shock that it's Rey. Fuck! And before I know it I'm running towards Michael and Rey when all of a sudden about 10 to 15 wolves come out from behind him to protect him. I don't believe it, all different sizes, shapes and colours of wolves forming around me, trapping me. Michael then lays Rey's body on the ground and looks me dead in the eyes while saying "You came I was starting to think you wouldn't." I'm not paying attention to him I'm only looking at Rey's small, vulnerable and fragile body, Michael follows my gaze and says with a smirk on his face "Oh her don't worry she's not dead…yet. Just unresponsive but she soon will be dead and so will you I'm taking everything from Christian Jackson he doesn't deserve the life he has let alone you or Rey. He deserves to die a slow and painful death." What the hell did Christian do?! I then say with fury coming from my voice "What do you mean? Why doesn't he deserve me, Rey or the life he has?" He looks at me and says "Huh you really don't know what you are and how special you are, do you? Well hmmm, how do I say this? I'm just gonna go with the truth and here it is, Grace Mia Rose you are one of the fallen, to be exact you are the daughter of one of the most powerful angels in the universe." Wait… what the hell did he just say? No that can't be true I'm not an angel, am I? "You're lying I can't be, you can't be serious." "Hmmm fine I'll prove it to you if I hurt Rey you're supposed to change into your angel self and protect her and if not… well she'll just get hurt, won't she?" And with that he smirks and looks down to Rey's impassive body. Next thing he does is he starts punching and kicking Rey and when I try to move toward him and Rey I can't, my whole body is shaking, I don't know if it's because I'm so angry right now I can punch a tree and break it or if I'm just physically cold. I close my eyes and start taking deep breathes when all of a sudden I feel something painful in my back, but not the kind of pain you're thinking of, it's the pain of getting stronger and stronger by the minute, second. When I open my eyes I see that Michael has stopped punching Rey and is looking at me with a smirk tugging at his lips. That's it! I can't take it anymore! Next thing I know there's a flash of lightning that hits Michael straight into his arm making him topple over on his back and which makes all the wolves around me growl and Michael screaming at the top of his lungs while also moaning and groaning on the ground "GET HER NOW!!!" And with that all the wolves look at me with complete fury in their eyes then out of nowhere I hear his voice the voice I love so much "NOO! GRACE MOVE OUT THE WAY!" I do as I'm told and duck and the next thing I'm met with is Christian's wolf form and many others surrounding me, but all I can look at is Christian's body his wolf self is a light grey with dark grey tips on his fur and his tall big figure a body of an Alpha my Alpha. He turns around and I'm met with the most memorising eyes in the whole world a light grey the same as his fur with little flecks of dark grey. He growls a low growl and I think it's a warning for me to keep low, he then turns away from my gaze to face his many opponents and before he launches himself at two of the front wolves tearing them to pieces he says something In the mind link "Grace, what the hell? You're an angel. Your eyes are violet and a light blue, you have crystal white wings at the back of you that has diamonds coming off the ends. You look even more beautiful right now than normal." I get up off the ground and walk over to where Rey is, her body is so bruised and beaten up it reminds me of when I was younger and when I got bet the shit out of. I pick up her body and walk over to where Lannan is and hand him Rey and tell him to take her to the hospital ASAP. I then hear Michael yell "Your gonna pay for hitting me with a lightning bolt you bitch!" I then feel something tear right through the flesh of my skin leading me to falling on the ground hitting my head on the hard rock ground. I then hear Christian's wolf form growl and then all of a sudden he is fighting with Michael right in front of my body but then Christian says something to Lannan and he is now fighting Michael. I feel someone's hands circling around me and I realize that it's Zed's.

The pain is excruciating and I see his godlike werewolf face hovering over me as he screams in the mind link as his werewolf form growls deeply and I know it's a growl of frustration,

warning and a command from his Alpha voice "GRACE DON'T LEAVE ME AND I'M SO SORRY I SHOULDN'T HAVE LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. LANNAN YOU KILLED HIM YET? THAT BASTARED!" I'm still lying down on the cold ground with Zed's arms around me while Christian takes care of the fight with the pack, and I automatically remember my mother's passing it was eagerly like this, except this is much more tolerable because of Christian's eyes and face, and if that was the last thing I would ever see than that was fine for me. I then see the light like so many other times I've been with him, and before I plummet into my eternal sleep I wonder "How come loving him was going to put myself in danger and my friends and family as well?"
