A previous coder for an abandoned private server project for revolutionary virtual sim MMO was contacted for a shady business deal- give them the source code for his once loved project for a large sum of money, with the only condition that he keep quiet about the deal... and replace the Game Master AI that governs the MMO world for a mysterious high-end AI called the God Machine.
