Part Twelve: Getting Choosen?

Sky had gotten to the drinks. The Prince was following her, because he did really think Sky was a beautiful maiden. Sky got a glass of water, since she didn't really like the taste of wine or beer or anything like that.

"So, you don't drink?" The Prince asked.

"Yeah. I hate the taste of it," Sky said as she looked at him.

"You're the first gal to not drink that type of drinks that I've talked to," He said.

"Yeah yeah. I know. I'm the first girl for everything, especially the first girl who actually likes what boys, men, like to do. Sure, I won't be able to actually become what I want because I'm a girl and that I'm weak."

"Oh?" He asked. He was interested in what Sky was saying, talking about.

"Yeah. I want to be a knight, but since I'm a female and I'm 'weak' I can't. I'm not weak. I've been training with Cam and Eric." Sky said as she ranted on.

The Prince listened to her.

A while later, the Prince had to go to his father, so he can choose a wife. Sky was talking to Eric and then she headed outside to get some fresh air, since it was getting a bit stuffy in the ball room of the palace.

"Everyone! Everyone! It seems like my son has chosen a wife," The king announced, "tell them who you want to marry, son."

"I chosen Sky," he said.

Everyone was confused on who Sky was and looked around. The prince looked to see if he could find her, but he couldn't.

Sky was still outside, getting some fresh air and cooling off. She didn't really hear the Prince.

Eric went to go and get her to tell her that the prince had chosen her to be his bride.

"Sky!" Eric shouted, "Sky, you might want to hear this!"

"Huh? Hear what?" Sky asked as she turned around and looked at Eric.

"The prince has chosen you to be his wife," he said.

Sky's eyes widened. She was confused, "you must be kidding, right? He can't pick a peasant girl."

"He can. He can pick any girl who is single still," Eric said.
