Part Twenty-Seven: To Risk it or Not to Risk it

"Oh? What is it that you plan to do?" Jaz asked.

"No one is going to like it, especially Josh," Sky said as she mumbled the the last part.

"No."

"You haven't even heard me say the plan."

"You don't need to when you say that," Jaz stated, "plus, I don't want you to become like our parents."

"I won't, plus its the only way I can think of that would actually work." 

"There has to be another way," Jaz said, "there has to be."

"Jaz, there isn't. I have to do this plan. It's the only one I think that can succeed," Sky said as she looked straight into Jaz's eyes to let her know that she was being serious.

Jaz looked back at Sky before looking away and down at the floor. "If you think that this is the only way, then I wish you luck."

"Jaz...I can promise you that I won't end up like our parents nor will I marry Prince James...since I have someone I already like..." Sky said as she mumbled the last part.

Hope heard Sky. "You have someone already?"

Sky goes red and hesitates before nodding her head. "Yes. No. I don't know its complicated right now as I know its wrong to have someone since I'm engaged to Prince James. We did confess to each other, but I ran away after we had kissed since I didn't know what to do."

Jaz and Aunt Ri's eyes widened, looked at each other, back at Sky, and yelled, "WHAT?!?!"

Sky nodded as she looked down.

"Do we know this person?" Aunt Ri asked.

"Yes, you've met him," Sky said.

Aunt Ri and Jaz start to think who've they've met of Sky's friends.

"Have we met them recently or are they one of your older friends?" Jaz asked.

"They're one of my newer friends."

Jaz and Aunt Ri got to thinking on who've they've met of Sky's newer friends.

As they were thinking, Sky left quietly and quickly. She would head to her favorite places as she wanted to see them one last time before heading to the palace to move on with the plan and to marry the prince.

"Maybe one day I'll get to come to my favorite places again..." she mumbled to herself as she was walking. Sky had to be prepared of what's to come and want could happen if her plan goes south. She had to trick her family, errr well distract them by the love thing.

While Sky was walking and mumbling to herself, she bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry. I was zoned out and mumbling to myself that I wasn't paying attention," Sky said.

"It's fine. Don't worry about it," the person said.

'They sound familar,' Sky thought. She looked at the person and realized who it was. "Prince James?"

Prince James smiled and chuckled. "That hurts that you don't remember how I look,' he said.

"Sorry. I've just been busy with life and getting ready for our wedding, if that's still happening," Sky said as she looked at him.

He could tell that she's been busy and not getting a lot of sleep due to whatever she was doing. "It's fine. The wedding is still going on, but if you want, I can have the wedding be postponed until you're ready for the wedding," James replied.

Sky let out a sigh. "No need to postpone the wedding. I've already told my family and friends about the wedding and when it will be," she said as she lied about telling her family and friends, granted she did tell her family and friends about the wedding, just not when or that she's actually going through with the wedding.
