AfterHour Bar Thoughts

Night settled in, As a few of the drunkards were being lifted up by there buddy's after drinking there hearts out from the all you can drink buffet.

Leaving the bar almost barren of any people...except...for three of them.

"Hey Hwandsome~? *Hic* Give us anowther one~ Tehehe"

"Yeah~ come on~ just one moar~ *Hic* Hehehe"

"I think you gals had enough for tonight, don't you think so?" as Zac turn his head towards the only sober one in the group.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry about them Zac"

Hearing the mature milf like women apologize for her lightweight friends before taking a sip from her glass.

"I never thought they'd turn out like this...but, aren't they just adorable~? Like little kittens drunk on affection Ufufu~" As the she put her hand on her cheek while looking at the brunette and the tan girl sluring there words to get Zac's attention.

"Hey~ I'm not TWAT dw~runk *Hic* Tehehe~ right~?" the brunette stretched her arm out with her slender hand, caressing Zac's shoulder with a tender lovingly touch.

"Oh~ Pwease~ You're way too dw~runk~ Hehehe~ Isn't that rw~ight Zac~? the tan girl reached out her delicate hand to the side of his neck in a slow smooth caress.

"Yes, yes, of course" throwing an defeated smile at them.

Not feeling the least bit repulsed by there affectionate advances on him.

Noticing the two drunken women getting more handsy as they both started to nibble on his ear and leaving kiss marks all over his neck; playing with his hair with thier lilith like hands.

Thinking that they had enough fun for tonight, he gently pulled the drunken women off of him.

"ok girls, let's settle down now"

Hearing a sound of moaning displeasure from both of the women as he did so.

"Oh my, Now why would you ruin thier fun like that~ and here I was enjoying myself on how it would escalate~" The mature women said as she swirled her drink in her hand with a little hint of curiosity at his actions.

"While I'd would love to continue our late night getaway, I'm already reserved for tonight"

"Oh~? that's a shame then, and here we thought we had you all to ourselves~ oh well I guess~" she seem slightly disappointed that he was taken for tonight...as well as others...

"Wha~t? *Hic* that's no fair~!"

"Yeah~! *Hic* what about us~?"

*Clap clap*

Hearing to sound of two hands clap from the sober mature women as she spoke out in a playful tone.

"Now girls, let's not be too pushy with him or you might actually scare him away~♡" she paused before smiling at Zac.

"Thank you for understa-" but was interrupted but what she said next.

"But that also doesn't mean the he won't let us girls leave without a small parting gift~♡"

As she said this, she put her glass down, slipping something underneath and walked over; pulling Zac in for a deep long kiss twisting there tongues around eachother like little snakes.

"Mhmm~hmm~Haa~mmhm~"

*Pu~ah*

"Isn't that right? Zac~?" licking her lips as she pulled away from him but before he could even respond to her...

"Oh~! *Hic* My turn~!"

He was pulled in for another french kiss by the brunette as her hot intoxicated breath fill his mouth. Getting her a bit drunk on his taste as she wouldn't stop sucking on his tongue.

"Mhmm~Haa~mhmm-ahm~"

*Pu~ah*

"Delish~!"

Licking her lips before passing out on the counter right after letting go.

Zac, who was trying to catch his breath from the double surprise attack could help but, feel a slight chill when someone else pulled his face in another direction.

"Don't forget about me~! *Hic*"

"H-hold up-Mhmm!"

"Haa~Mhmm~mhm"

The tan chick came in like lighting, she felt a deep sense of euphoria as she took her time diving deep in his mouth, as she started playing tug a war with his tongue.

*Pu~ah*

"Yum~"

Finally letting go of his lips she slumped over just like her brunette friend, Zac managed to catch his breath before saying something that might have hit the nail on the head.

"Well, If I'd known better *cough* I would have mistaken you girls as succbi on the prowl" he said jokingly to the girls.

"!"

"How rude of you to say such a thing like that~ but~ I'll let it slide for now" She looked over and saw how dazed her girls seemed after there late night snack while slumping over the counter...

(Well, would you look at that...)

Looking at him with an apprehensive hidden expression while putting on her best smile.

"Since we got our little parting gift, we'll call it a night" walking over to grab her friends by the waist as she took the two of them; with both her arms and sashayed towards the bar doors before turning her head around to look at Zac, giving him a quick wink.

"Ciao~♡"

Seeing her walk out the bar with her clumsy friends, Zac's sharp eyes shone with a small glint as they walked out

...seeing three swaying tails...

*sigh*

Giving them a knowing smile as they went out the bar before uttering out a small quiet prayer with closed eyes.

"May there significantly other find peace after tonight"

"So your finally done being their boy toy for the night huh?"

Looking towards the adorable special someone, who seem to be a bit jealous judging by her tone.

"Oh come on Lil'Miss Ann, It wasn't that bad right?" Trying to defend himself from being reprimanded by her, as he adjust his cloths.

"Despite looking like a complete mess after they had there share of fun by taking a bite before leaving?" putting her hand on her hip, looking at Zac with a frowning disappointed face.

"Come on Zac, you know better!"

Walking over and sitting on the stool in front of him as she placed her hand on his forehead, checking if he was actually ok.

"I'm fine Annette, trust me" reassuring her with a confident attitude as he grabbed a hold of her hand that was on his forehead before continuing.

"Besides, I would feel pretty embarrassed if I couldn't even handle couple of mischievous girls looking for a quickie" winking at her with sly grin as he planted a small kiss on her soft hand.

"Oh shut up, you hopeless womanizer" pulling her hand away, knowing what he meant behind that statement before speaking in a soft voice.

"Just please make sure you don't do anything stupid tonight...."

Feeling a little happy that she still feels worried about him despite her harsh words...

"Of course, I promise" quickly changing his tune after promising her his word.

"Then how about a drink to lighten the mood up a bit" putting on his best bartender smile while pulling out a glass and setting it in front of her.

"Now what would the lovely young lady have for tonight?" looking at her with a warm gaze awaiting her order.

*sigh* Smiling at his little roleplay, deciding to play along with him just this once.

"Then please give me the usual on the rocks boss" sporting a customer like smile.

"Of course!" With a simple snap, he dropped ice in her glass. As he started to grab a bottle with a clear looking liquor inside and another with a pink-ish hue and started to pour them in the cocktail shaker.

Taking his time preparing her drink as he set down the bottles and started shaking the cocktail shaker in a steady pace, mixing the the two types of liquor.

Pouring the contents into the glass while giving her a loving smile.

"One [Angel's tear] on the rocks for the beautiful young women!" leaning on the counter waiting for her to drink up.

Grabbing her drink with her lily like hand as she took a small swig...feeling a nice warmth spread throughout her throat and then chest.

Looking down at her glass as she set it down in front of her...she held the glass with two hands, with a worried contemplating look in her eyes...

"Hey Zac?"

"Hm? what's wrong? Not up to your fancy?"

Feeling a sense of weight behind how she called his name, thinking that its probably not about the drink...

"Did you ever think...that us meeting all those years ago..." Seeing her hands tighten around her glass...

"Was just a freak accident...?"

The room was dead silent...so quiet that you could hear the slightest creak of the floor boards as she continued on...

"A misfortunate naive girl who suffered from having others feeling threatened by her mere existence..." she paused as she stared at Zac with sorrowful eyes, As if feeling guilty of something...

"..And an unfortunate young man who happened to be there at my lowest point in life...despite already being near death himself..." looking back down at her drink...like she wanted to avoid eye contact...

Zac just closed his eyes while leaning back from the counter with folded arms...thinking back 10 years ago on there encounter with eachother...

He remembered stumbling through a forest in the middle of the night with tattered armored cloths as heavy rain was pouring down on him while holding his chest tight.

Almost falling over from time to time, as he trekked through the gloomy forest...with no clear destination in mind...other than just... walking however long his legs could endure...

Until he stumble upon a dirt road as he stood on top of a steep hill, looking down on it he saw a couple of figures on the road...

Narrowing his eyes, he saw four helmet armored men on horses with bladed weapons on hand, surrounding a hooded young girl as she was holding a small butter knife in front of her assailants with her back against a broken down carriage.

Knowing the condition of his body, he knew saving a damsel in distress was not something he could afford to do right now, not with how messed up his body was at the moment...until his ears perked up.

"You poor wretched thing, throwed away like a dirty rag, unwanted by those you deemed to be precious to you"

An armoured horsemen who seem to be leading the other three, spoke to the shivering girl before him.

"You lie! They wouldn't do such an thing! They-!"

"They left you to die. Correction, They wanted you dead" the horsemen interrupted her, speaking in a stern voice.

"Lies! As if I'd believe a single word that comes out of your mouth!" The girl screamed hysterically at the horsemen.

"Even the family you had hoped would love and accept you, wanted you gone from there lives" he added on as if waiting to drive a sharp stake through her chest.

"Why do you think we're here? Isn't it too coincidental?"

"How was it that your carriage broke down and nobody was to be seen as soon as it happened then we appeared at that very moment of misfortune?" The horsemen approached the young girl before unrolling a parchment from his hand.

"Would this suffice as proof, that you are unwanted?" he said with a devious uncaring tone.

She looked at the parchment...

Her little eyes widen as she seem to have lost some light in her eyes from everything she had seen...as she drop her little knife to the muddy ground.

"Why...why would they....?" clenching her chest as she felt a sharp pain in her heart.

"I'll tell you why! It's because you're an Invalid, Abomination, Disgusting Heathen!" shouting at her with a crazed voice before slowly saying one last thing as he raised his blade.

"You're better off being dead and forgotten from this world" ready to hack down on the girl in her delirious state.

*Clank!* "ARGH!"

*Clank!* "GRAH!"

But, before he could swing down at the soulless girl who seemed to have lost hope in living.

He heard the sound of his colleagues scream in pain before going silent, turning around to see two of his men on the ground...unconscious and one in complete shock.

Until...

*Swi~sh!*

*Clank!* "GRUH!"

He saw his last subordinate get hit by a rock in the head creating a deep dent on the helmet; hitting the ground hard as he fell off his horse scaring the other horses away as they ran off in the distances.

"WHO DARE GETS IN THE WAY OF THE CHURCH?!"

Turning his head around yelling while trying to control his distressed horse, looking for the interloper that was getting in the way of delivering penance to the cursed heathen before him.

Is when he saw a shadowy figure sliding down a muddy steep hill at an unbelievable speed before kicking off really hard from the side of the steep hill, launching himself straight towards him!

Lifting his blade to quickly intercept the foolish person coming right at him!

*Swish-*

*Swoosh*

*BAM!*

But his blade wasn't fast enough, as his face was meet with the full brunt of the interloper's knee at full impact.

Knocking him off his horse with a resounding crash, startling the dazed girl as she fell backwards on the ground.

Zac hauled himself up from the impact, staggering as he did.

*Puh!* spitting at the unconscious religious pleb on the ground as he glared at the disgusting symbol on his armor.

"Noisy religious snake-freak" looking away as his attention was soon directed at the girl on the ground.

"I only knocked them unconscious for while...you should run away from here while you can, others are bound to show up" is all he said to her before turning away from her.

He noticed something on the ground...bending down to pick up the parchment...looking at what it was before he decided to say one last thing.

"Never let others decide your own fate, like you were just about to let happen just now..."

As he held the mudded parchment in the air...in the next second it lit on fire as it turned to embered ashes in the rainy wind.

Turning his head around to stare her in the eyes to deliver his own insight on life.

"Always live your life to the fullest! Never at the lowest! Don't ever hold yourself back!" giving her the most carefree grin that she has ever seen.

Turning his head back around as he started to walk away in a slow stumble from the scene before he felt two hands pulling on his tattered cloak.

Looking behind him, he saw a frightened scared girl with short scarlet hair and small green gem like eyes...and a beauty mark on the bottom corner of her eye as she was staring at him with a pleading look.

"Then Please...take me away from here!" she begged him as she continued with her pleading.

"Anywhere is fine..! I'll do anything...even if it means giving up this body of mine...! so please..! I beg you..."

As she shouted at the top of her lungs...

"I WANT TO LIVE MY LIFE TO THE FULLEST!!!"

She held on his tattered cloak with a tight grip giving him a determined crying look in her eyes...waiting for his response.

"I'm sorry but, I'm not into little girls" he spoke out seeing the hopeless on her face fall deeper in despair.

"But, maybe in other 10 years I'll take up you up on your adorable offer" throwing a weak cheeky smile at her, seeming to have put her in a surprised daze, not knowing whether it was because of him making fun of her or the fact that he was willing enough to whisk her away from here.

He quickly picked her up from her feet and set her on top of the free horse that was left empty by the religious freak.

Without giving her the chance to react before hauling himself over behind her and pulling on the reins.

Galloping down the muddy dirt road as they both heard multiple shouts from a distance but soon they grew quiet as they went further and further away...until all they could hear was the heavy rain falling down on them.

Snapping back to reality from his little reminiscent mood.

He looked towards Annette with a somber smile.

"Well I wouldn't call it a freak accident nor a twist of fates but, more like two poor souls finding eachother, admist the horrible storm they had to walk through" as Zac moved his hand to gently hold her chin up...looking straight into eachothers eyes.

"If anything, I owe you my life as you owe yours to me...plus I look back fondly on us meeting eachother at the end of it all, wouldn't you agree?"

As Annette began to reminisce of what he meant by those words alone...

[I owe you my life...as you owe yours to me...]

Hearing nothing but the heavy rain, while she was recovering from the initial shock of being swept off her feet she spoke in a hurried thankful voice.

"Thank you! Thank you so mu-!"

*Cough!*

But her thanks was cut short as she felt something warm on her shoulder that soon ran down her back after hearing him cough...

Reaching behind her shoulder with her hand to see what it was, as she brought her hand to her face...

"!"

she felt a jolt of fear at what she witnessed.

Soon she felt something heavy lean on her back, quickly realizing what was going on; she took hold the reins and stopped at a near by clearing.

she left him leaning on the horse; tying the reins to a sturdy tree branch under a big tree to shield him from the rain as she began looking through the leather bags on the horse, seeing that it was a camping set she quickly began setting up a tent in a hurried pace like her life deepened on it.

She felt so thankful for knowing how to set up her own tent as she had to live outside...from time to time because of her family...

Shaking her head vigorously from such useless thoughts as there was an important life on her hands.

After finishing, she carefully got him off the horse and dragged him over to the tent, laying him down inside on a thick blanket with a makeshift pillow behind his head.

She then checked for a heart beat by putting her ear on his chest.

"Its slow...but steady...right! I-I need to to take his wet clothes off and warm him up or else...!"

Shaking her head from such horrible thoughts and proceeded to get him unclothed...

"!"

Covering her mouth with both hands in a gasp at what she saw when she took off his cloths from his upper body...it was something she would never forget...

His body was covered in deep scars and burns...but the most horrific thing she saw...was the huge circular burnt scar on his bare chest...almost looking like a sun...

what confused her the most was that..they seem to be rather recent...but, it looked like someone forcibly closed his wounds...leaving them as deep scars...

She then realized everything he did up to this point...to save her from those armored men...he risked his already damaged body...in order to save her's...

Wincing at the thought that she might have been the reason for his condition to worsen...just...another misfortune she put upon another...

*Pak!*

Slapping her cheeks with both her hands, trying to snap out of her gloomy state and getting back at the matter at hand!

She didn't have time to hold herself back because of her past! she needed to save his life!

she finished undressing him as she pulled out a long white bandage roll, out from the larger bag.

She began cleaning down his entire body, finishing bandaging his body as best she could...after doing everything that she could do for him, she placed a warm blanket over him.

...as she slowly began feeling her fatigue catching up to her body...from all the adrenaline that was rushing through her body from today's events.

She weakly leaned into his ear and whispered...her gratitude...

"Thank you...from the bottom of my heart..." as she let out a blood red tear that fell on his face...before falling over beside him...

The next morning she woke up...confused after she passed out before looking at a bandaged body sitting up straight...wiping her eye with his hand...looking at her with sheepishly smile, as if being caught red handed.

"oh-uh...hey, Good morning..." retracting his hand from her face; grabbing the back of his head not knowing what else to say.

"Thanks for taking care of me back there...I uh... hope I didn't freak you out too badly, I'm Za-" she embraced him all of a sudden without letting him finish his jumble up words.

"You're alive! Thank God! I thought! I thought that I-!" gently feeling a hand pat her back as she dug her face in his chest trying to ease her emotionally state.

She never felt so relieved...so happy...it was a new feeling for her...so surreal.

Hugging her savior for what seem like an eternity before uttering out a single name...

"Annette."

"?"

Confusing him for a moment before realizing it was her name as he also gave his own name.

"Zac, mind if I call you Ann for short?"

Looking up at him with a pure smile as tears streaked down her eyes, nodding her head.

"Of course! Please do!"

At the time, she felt over the moon from just a simple nickname.

Deciding that she would stop living at her lowest and start living at her highest from now on...by his side.

Refocusing her eyes as she came back from memory line, looking straight at at his eyes with a pure smile on her face.

"I do remember" putting her hand on his cheek as she continued on with a loving smile

"And I promised I would live my life to the fullest and I intend to do that tonight, without holding back!"

Breaking off from him as she grabbed her drink and downed it in one shot before getting up from her sit and walked up stairs with a certain confident sway in her hips.

"...?"

Leaving him in a befuddled state...

(Wasn't that the part where we both kiss eachother in understanding or did I miss something there?)

Until he heard her a teasing voice from upstairs.

"You better not get cold feet when I'm ready~!" as she added on to her teasing statement.

"Besides you did promised me 10 years ago so you better own up it~!"

Feeling like his words from the past where coming back to bite him in the ass, as he heard her door close.

After hearing her provoking voice from upstairs...he felt like she was challenging his pride as a man.

It was then that he looked towards the windows of his bar with a tired smile and saw a couple of shadowy figures coming up the bar slowly from a distance.

Shaking his head as if he was fed up with this song and dance.

"Sorry Annette, I'm going to have to do something stupid tonight"
