"Now Seraphine come towards us"

The man wearing a white-dressed shirt says beckoning her to come closer Seraphine started staggering the moment she stopped her rampage the blue flame started toning down

"Urp..."

Seraphine suddenly threw up blood, to all the four vampires' alarm. The man wearing a white-dressed shirt cautiously came closer to her.

"Seraphine, just breathe alright?" He instructed.

Just then a flash of thunder blinded everyone for a moment, I squinted my eyes shut as well but when I opened it, the blue flame on Seraphine's body was now on the concrete ground, a magic circle drawn from the blue flame.

"Shit!"

The four Vampires were about to take action, reaching out to her when lightning suddenly struck out of nowhere in between them, the four blasted back while a portal suddenly opened from beneath Seraphine's feet.

Time suddenly slowed down for everyone,

Seraphine slowly fell from the portal while I instinctively catch her, but I momentarily forgot that I was in my Astral form, so she just passed through me, but to my surprise, I was also sucked inside the opened portal.

"SERAPHINE!"

"PRINCESS!"

"NOOOOOOOOO!"

I heard the four vampires cry before the portal instantly closed off, Seraphine and I were falling down the void, it was strange seeing so many worlds, it's either a mirrored, an alternate, or a completely different world.

That's when I realized I should stop looking on amazed at what I'm seeing Seraphine, and I was in a dangerous situation. Wild portals like this one are unpredictable, falling endlessly and being trapped here is a possibility if we don't do something!

"Seraphine, snap out of your reverie!" I called out, her eyes were wide open, but she wasn't responsive "Seraphine! Please!" I pleaded.

That's when a soft glow in her eyes twinkled, it was a little frightening looking at her now since she had blood on her clothes, her mouth, and she was unblinking, her complexion is now extremely pale and her lips are blue.

"Aperi Oculus Solis"

I shivered at what I just heard, It was Seraphine's voice, but it wasn't at the same time, it was like her powers are possessing her.

I became preoccupied watching her when she suddenly looked at me, I jumped, she grabbed my wrist in a swift motion, It shocked me since no one can touch you when you are in Astral form.

She pulled me closer to her then she looked ahead, I also looked ahead and there was a portal in front of us.

We managed to enter the portal after entering it closed in the blink of an eye.

We were still falling but gazing around from the height we were falling I immediately recognized the layout of the surrounding in front of us.

"We're Home"

(Meanwhile)

3rd Person POV;

Laurrie, Gabriel, Phil and Max groaned in pain slowly waking up from being electrocuted, luckily they weren't burned to a crisp and the lightning bolt didn't hit them or Seraphine directly.

"Where's Seraphine?!" Phil immediately asks looking around.

"Seraphine!" Laurrie called out

"She's gone"

"W-What do you mean gone, Gabriel?" Phil's voice shook in terror.

"Gone, she disappeared," Gabriel says pushing his hair back irritated

"HOLY SHIT! WE'RE DEAD, WE ARE SO DEAD, NO WE ARE ALREADY DEAD! HIS MAJESTY IS GOING TO HAVE OUR HEADS!" Phil started panicking.

"Shut the fuck up Phil!" Laurrie shouted, "your panicking isn't helping any of us!"

"It's fine, calm down everyone," Gabriel told them "we need to regroup for now to gather our thoughts"

"Laurrie?" Max looks at her expectantly.

"Gather around me so that we can teleport to the café" They obliged

"I'm going to give my money to charity before I die"

"Phil, don't be a drama queen," Max tells him

Laurrie gave the men towels to dry themselves and hot cocoa to calm their nerves down, especially Phil. He needed it more than anyone else.

"What are we going to say to his majesty?" Phil's hands were shaking so was the mug of cocoa in his hands.

"We're going, to tell the truth, that we failed"

"I think that will put us in a disadvantage Gabriel, unlike you his majesty isn't our close friend," Laurrie tells him crossing her arms

"He won't hurt you trust me, and it wasn't our fault that she got attacked, it was thoroughly planned"

"But we needed to protect her not to mention PREVENT her from using her powers"

Max argued worriedly, they went silent when their attention got diverted towards the televisions' announcement.

"The latest tonight in BDC news. A strange anomaly has happened throughout Manchester U.K. thunder and lightning, as well as heavy rain, falls suddenly fell around this afternoon the-"

The reporter suddenly stopped and listened to her headpiece, she looked straight at the camera.

"Now recently updating, There is a report of an Alumni Student Seraphine Armaclei being missing"

"Oh no..." Phil says in shock.

"Reports say that her house got robbed by ten unknown men and is missing for three hours already, police are still searching for the young woman's whereabouts. More on this story with-"

"Looks like news spread fast," Gabriel remarked

"Let me check on Chitter if she's trending" Laurrie quickly got her phone out and her thoughts were right "She is trending in Chitter, they're posting their condolences already"

"Are they dumb? She's missing she's not dead"

"You know how it is on social media, the news informs the people exaggerate" Max shakes his head disapprovingly

"I want to tell them that they are wrong but..."

"But what Laurrie? Do you think she's also dead? Some best friend you are"

"First we don't know where she is, and second did you even see Seraphine's state earlier? She vomited blood! Her face is swollen, and she has a black eye!"

"So you're saying that she's a goner"

"Well she might be, I'm speaking realistically here!"

"I should've taken the role of Seraphine's best friend! Who the fuck speaks like this?"

"That's enough, Phil and Laurrie!" Gabriel scolded Phil and Laurrie glared at each other "His majesty already sent me a message" the three of them slumped their shoulders "he's requesting our presence"

"I hear our funeral bells," Phil says in dread

"It's time to face the music" Gabriel added
