Seraphine POV;

"I'm falling…"

I said as I looked at the infinite void of darkness, I thought it wasn't going to end when my back hit something hard.

"Ouch!"

I cried out when I landed on something hard, anyone would think that you would be dead when you fall from a certain height but it looks like it doesn't apply when you're dreaming wide awake, falling inside your mind, how does this even happen?

"Am I hallucinating?"

I said lying on my back I sat up and noticed my reflection.

"What is this?"

I rubbed my head, after looking around I stood up, it's all glass.

"I stomped my feet on the ground, making a hollow noise echo"

My brain isn't THAT empty? Right?

I sounded unconvinced, but how am I having thoughts inside my thoughts? I'm hearing myself as well?

"I'm starting to get confused, at my own words inside my head, but I'm inside my thoughts" I stopped speaking, shaking my head.

I'm not going to think about it since I'm going to lose my mind.

I walked around to see if there's an exit, only to find myself walking in circles. How am I going to escape this place?

"Hello!" I said, my voice echoing.

No answer, of course.

I looked down and stared at my reflection, raising a brow examining myself, I tilt my head. Is it just me or the image is warping?

I went down on my knees taking a closer look.

"Seraphine"

I jumped when my supposed reflection called out, it did warp! Changing into the image of Mom!

"Mom?" I called out

"Seraphine! Sweetheart!"

"M-Mom?!"

"I'm sorry"

"Why are you apologising?!"

"It is my fault that you are now trapped, in a world that you don't belong"

"What are you talking about?!"

"I'm supposed to shoulder all the burden but because of my cowardness, I'm making you suffer instead…"

"What…?"

"Seraphine, being the Holder of the Prophecy is not just your duty in this world it's also your responsibility now, you will need to fixed what needs fixing, you will take upon the prophecy and the curse, whether you like it or not"

"..."

"I'm truly sorry, my precious"

Mom began to sob, her beautiful porcelain face stained with tears.

"I'm sorry, I don't have words of comfort for you, but it'll be alright"

"It should have been the other way around" she chuckled wiping her tears

"Mom, if this moment was bound to happen, then it's not your fault, maybe it was destiny that I'm here instead of you"

Her expression turned into shock.

"You aren't going to shout, get mad or blame me?"

"What's the point?" I told her nonchalantly "it's going a waste of energy, complaining and I'm already here, it's also not appropriate to get mad at you seeing as though this place is inside my mind"

I may not see you again…the least I want is to shout at you.

"Seraphine" She presses her hands on the mirror "In order for you to gain awareness and not drown in the prophecy's control, you must accept it wholeheartedly, that is the time that the prophecy power will acknowledge you as the new holder"

"So it's just like verification? for me to have awareness, at what I'm doing I need to accept it?"

"Yes"

"The time that I killed Barnes and the time that I killed those people to save Forsythia, what about that? I don't understand?"

"Your drive, is your emotion of anger, fear and sorrow, it blinded you, emotions are the key in unlocking your powers"

She started explaining to me.

"but being blinded by it causes harm and destruction, right now, you pleaded for the power to save everyone because of the premonition, you saw"

Mom paused giving a faint smile

"you never accepted your power, because you are afraid of it, you reject it, that's why you lose control of yourself letting your emotion thrive makes the power of the prophecy control your entire senses and movements"

"That time...that's why I couldn't remember?"

"Yes"

"What about my amnesia? Is the prophecy power the cause too?" I questioned

"...I'm sorry"

"Ha…" I scoffed in disbelief

"Seraphine, please forgive me"

"Mom, stop apologising, it's making me feel uncomfortable, I'm not angry or anything I'm just confused"

"You can get angry at me Seraphine, I completely understand, me and your father understand your coldness towards us too-"

"The unanswered questions that I tell you agitated me" I interrupted

"Now, that you have given me answers, it left me with mixed feelings, but the main emotion that swelled in me, is confusion"

Silence engulfed us. I broke it with a sigh

"I don't have a choice, so better face what's in store for me"

"Seraphine, you-"

"Mom, if you didn't run away, us siblings, wouldn't be born, so, please don't cry anymore, seeing you cry makes my heart ache"

Mom widens her eyes.

"You ran away for your wish to come true, your wish has already been granted, but it had a cost, this world ended up suffering for your happiness. I think it's time that we share your happiness with this world, through me" I smiled at mom accepting my destiny.

"S-S-Seraphine" her voice trembled

I made up my mind, if I'm trapped here then that means, I need to stride forward.

To be honest, I'm scared of what lies in wait for me.

I need to gather my courage and be brave.

For Mom, Lucianus, Forsythia, Dad.

Most importantly of all, this world.

"Mom I've never said this again to you, and I don't know how long it has been but I want you to know even if I still haven't recovered all of my memories"

The image of mom started warping, tears started streaming down her face.

"I love you"

You, Dad, Forsythia, even my best friends and Gabriel, I owe Gabriel an apology too since he took care of me and I treated him like garbage.

But it looks like I won't ever say the words of apology to him.

I'm sorry Gabriel.

"We love you too, our precious…"

"Princess"

My eyes widened at the voices, I heard Mom and Dad's voices, their tone of voices was happy, I wanted to cry but I told myself, I shouldn't.

The mirror crack'd, startling me, the image of Mom disappeared, the image that now replaced her is mine, but I was in a red dress with a beautiful jewelled crown on my head.

"What are you waiting for?"

"Are you me?! Then who the hell am I?"

"To control your powers you need to have a better grasp of yourself"

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"Take my hand"

The image of myself reached out to me, I reached out but the mirror is in between us.

"Hurry"

My other self said.

The most logical way is to break the mirror but I don't have anything on me right now.

"Time is counting down!"

I punched the mirror, my knuckles were bleeding, I don't know why but my hands suddenly hurt even though this is inside my mind, not just that but my arm is aching for some reason.

"Almost!"

When the mirror finally had a hole I grabbed my other self's hand, the world inside my mind shifted, and I was hanging upside down, the only thing that's preventing me from falling is the image of myself inside the mirror holding onto me.

"Do you accept your destiny?"

"YES"

The mirror started to crack even more until it broke I grabbed the arm of my other self and hauled myself up-

(Leo)

My hand moved automatically, the giant boulder that shaped like a needle stopped.

"W-What the hell is happening?!"

I said looking around, I noticed that I am on fire.

"OH GOD!"

I was about to panic when the voice of the lion shouted at me.

-Calm down! It's not burning you!

(Leo)

When he said that, I came to realise that I wasn't burning or I didn't feel like I'm burning.

"What is this?!"

-Questions later!

(Leo)

The giant monster seemed agitated.

"What do I do with this?!"

I said to the Lion, not having a clue what to do with the giant needle boulder.

-Float it upwards

(Leo)

"Uh?" I turned my hand to my palm and gestured upward the boulder floated

"TOO COOL!" I cooed excitedly

"Your highness look out!"

Rocks shot towards me like bullets, I held my hands up in defence, and they stopped.

I opened an eye to see what happened.

"This is so cool!"

-Child! Listen to me!

The Monster roared in frustration, a giant magic circle appeared below it.

"What is it doing?"

-Child! Focus your power on the boulders floating above, ignite it mixing your blue flame then crash it down on the Behemoth.

(Leo)

"What do I need to do? Do I also need to believe?!" Like Peter pan or something?

-Stop talking nonsense, and do as I say or all of us are dead!

(Leo)

"O-Okay" I looked at the two floating rocks

I honestly don't know what to do, but then I remembered my encounter with Phoebe, I just imagine being lit ablaze, so maybe I should just imagine it engulfed in my blue flames too?

-Hurry Child!

I inhaled and imagined.

-VERY GOOD! NOW RUN TOWARDS THE CARRIAGE!

(Leo)

I ran towards the Carriage, but it looked like I was too slow since Leo beckoned me to hop on his back, I jumped on its back.

"I've never ridden a lion before!" I said giddy, "why is my arm bleeding? I'm also holding onto you Fries all this time"

"Meow…"

-Bring the two boulders down on the Behemoth with high-speed!

(Leo)

Leo instructed, I nod, imagining the boulder brought down like a meteor.

The boulder started falling.

-Praetectio!

(Leo)

Leo roared a clear light that came from it started coming outwards.

-Tell everyone to gather around the carriage!

(Leo)

"Everyone! Gather around us!"

I said, everyone complied, all of us are now inside the barrier.

When the two boulders, what I want to call it is meteor now, crashed onto the Behemoth the ground shook, an explosion followed after.

A huge dust storm blew, the debris of rocks scattered, strewing about, thanks to the barrier Leo pulled up it didn't affect us.

"Your highness!" Everyone gathered around me.

"You're bleeding!"

"I'm going to apply first aid on you, stay still"

I suddenly feel light-headed

The dust finally settles down, all of us could see that the Behemoth is completely obliterated with the blood-splattered around along with its guts strewn.

I hurled at the disgusting sight, the light-headed feeling worsened, I felt my eyes roll in the back of my head.

"Your highness!"

"Princess!"

"We need to get to the…town.."

Voices started slowly fading away.

-Till we meet again child

(Leo)

The only voice that rang loud and clear is Leo's voice.

-Now you have achieved awareness of the power of the prophecy, but you still have a long way to go child, for now, rest your body and mind, you have done well.

(Leo)

Leo's voice echoed and faded.
