Chapter 19

"Bella , why aren't you falling asleep!' I said desperately while looking at Bella. She just looked at me while smiling , and I just smiled at her tiredly.

Today Bella was just so energised . She wouldn't go down for a nap, when feeding her she spilled all of her food on me and covered me with baby food. When I tried giving her a bath she just splashed water everywhere. And now she won't go down for the night.

I'm covered in baby food and my shirt is soaked with water. And other than that Kyon , being the puppy he is, won't calm down. All he wants to do is play .

I went upstairs to Bella's room and made sure that Kyon is downstairs. I started humming a lullaby and after a while of struggling , Bella finally fell asleep.

I quietly closed the door and went downstairs. I looked at the time and it was nearly 10. That meant Alec is coming soon.

I sat down on the couch and Kyon jumped on me. I chuckled and put him on my lap . I pet him slowly and I felt him slowly falling asleep. I closed my eyes for a bit when I heard a car pulling up into the driveway.

I got up slowly, making sure I didn't wake up Kyon and went to the door. Just as I arrived at the door Alec opened it and came in.

He looked surprised at my appearance but before he could say anything, I put a finger on my lips and said, " talk in a low voice. Bella just fell asleep and Kyon is sleeping in living room ." He nodded his head and walked in quietly.

"I see they haven't been nice to you today?" Alec whispered and gestured to my shirt. I nodded and chuckled in a low voice.

"Bella for some reason was full of energy today. And Kyon just wanted to play all day." I said while shaking my head. "Well you're still here for an hour and you can't stay in a wet shirt. Come , I'll give you one of my hoodies." Alec said and started walking to his room.

I shook my head," No it's okay, my shirt will be dry in no time" I said, Alec looked back and raised his eyebrows "It's cold , you'll get sick. My sisters babysitter can't get sick." he said with a smirk on his face, I raised my eyebrows at him but he just looked at me.

I shook my head while smiling ," Okay fine." I said . "Great he said and continued walking with me following him.

Alec led me through the house until we reached his room. He opened his door and entered while I waited outside. "Why are you outside , come in." he said when he noticed I didn't enter his room.

I walked into his room and it is actually really nice. It has grey walls and it's quite big. I stood in the middle of the room and just looked around.

"You like it?" Alec asked as he looked through his closet. I nodded "It's really cool." . "Thank you." he said . He pulled something out of the closet and handed it to me.

It was a sweatshirt, "This should do. " he said, "Thank you." I said. Alec smiled at me,"There is a bathroom right there. Yo can change there." he said and pointed at a door.

I nodded my head and went to the bathroom to change.

After I finished changing I left the bathroom and saw Alec sitting on his bed with a guitar in his hands.

Alec saw me and smiled at me,"It's a little big. But it should do for now." I nodded then pointed to the guitar, "How good are you?" I asked him.

"I'm pretty good, you play?" Alec asked me. "A little bit. I'm better with a piano." I said.

"You play the piano?" Alec asked surprised , I nodded"Yeah, since we moved a lot .Every place we went to I learnt new things. Riding horses and playing the piano are my favourite though." I said.

"Well , Caden has a piano in his place. Maybe one day all of us can go and you can play." Alec said . "Maybe, we'll see." I said not sure what to say. To tell the truth my friendship with Caden , really depends on whats gonna happen with him and Ari.

Suddenly I heard the doorbell ring. "Ah that must be the pizza." Alec said. "You ordered pizza?" I asked him. "Yeah I was hungry and I was sure you are too. So I decided to buy some food." he said and took some money out of his wallet.

"Alec you didn't have to do that." I said while shaking my head. "I wanted to ." he said and shrugged his shoulders and left the room.

I followed him out and said, "Okay then , but you'll let me pay." "No-" he tried to say but I glared at him and he stopped talking."I'm paying at least a part of it , okay?" I said and handed him the money .

"You're bossy." Alec commented , I just shrugged my shoulders and smiled at him. He shook his head and went and got the pizza while I waited in the living room.

" You sure are hungry." I said after Alec finished the pizza box. "I have running around all day, sue me." he said. I shook my head and laughed,"Well at least you're full now." I said. Alec nodded and pet Kyon who woke up while we were eating.

I looked at the time and saw that it was 11, "I should go now." I told Alec. He looked like wanted to say something but he stayed quiet.

Alec then nodded his head, "Okay sure , just wait fro a second." he said then left the room and went upstairs. I waited for a bit then I saw him come down the stairs with a sleeping Bella in his arms and an envelope.

My eyes widened and I said " Alec why did you bring Bella down." "Shhhh, you don't want to wake her up now do you?" Alec whispered.

I glared at him then whispered back, "What are you doing?!" , "I want to take you home and I knew yo will tell me that I have to stay with Bella, so she is coming. Here hold her while I bring Kyon." Alec said and handed Bella to me.

I took Bella and shook my head, "You're annoying." I said while glaring at him. He smiled at me and said "I know." .

Alec got Kyon and left the house and i followed him after taking my stuff. I walked out after him and he closed the door.

We got in his car and I put Bella in her seat, praying that she won't wake up. Alec tried to put Kyon in the back with Bella but I stopped him from doing that.

"What?" he asked. "You want to put a puppy who wants to play in the same place as a sleeping baby? Yeah I don't think so." I said and took Kyon.

I sat in the front seat with Kyon on my lap and Alec followed and sat in the drivers seat.

I waited for Alec to start the car but he handed me the envelope . "Here is the money for today." he said. I nodded my head and thanked him then put away the money.

He smiled at me then started the car.

"Here we go." Alec said when we reached my home. I smiled at him then said, "Thank you for the ride Alec." "You're welcome." he told me with a grin on his face .

I opened the door quietly , trying not to disturb the now sleeping Kyon. Before I could get out Alec stopped me.

"Claire, are you free this Sunday?" Alec asked me. I thought that maybe Alexa may need me to babysit , "Yeah I'm free."

Alec nodded then thought for a bit. He then looked at me with his beautiful eyes , and I'm not saying this because of anything but his eyes are really beautiful.

"Will you go on a date with me?" he asked. My eyes widened and I wasn't expecting that.I had no idea what to say.

Alec looked so hopeful and when I didn't say anything his face kinda fell. I recovered from my shock and said "I would like that." and I gave him a small smile.

His face lit up and he said , "Great I'll text you the details."

I nodded then got out of the car then put Kyon where I was sitting. "Goodnight Alec I said." and smiled at him.

"Goodnight Claire." Alec said then I closed the door and entered my home while he drove off.
