In the end, she meets her end.

In order to keep her new life, she decides to avoid all the male leads.

But she doesn't know that her family is planning to do the same.

Villainess Pretends To Have Amnesia

As Alice caught the sight of the carriage, she walked down. The carriage halted in front of the mansion. When the door opened, a lady climbed down. When she looked at the waiting Alice, she smiled. Her grand dress did not make her uncomfortable when she walked towards Alice.


"Hello Maggie" Alice called, "was your journey comfortable?"


"Journeys are never comfortable" Margarette said making a tired face.


"I understand. Let me take you to your room" Alice said and asked her to follow.


As Alice walked into her room after letting Margarette rest in her room, she lied down on her bed.


"Alice, your childhood friend had come" she remembered how her mother first called Margarette. 


"Alice" Margarette said making a crying face, "I hear you forgot about me."


"I'm sorry" Alice apologized not knowing why.


"It's fine" her face immediately brightened, "so what if you forgot your old memories. Don't worry, we will make new ones."


She was really surprised how immediately she can change her face. 


"I'll leave you both. I hope you both can become good friends once again" the duchess said turning around and walked away, leaving the long-separated friends renew a new bond.


"What is your name?" Alice asked hesitating.


"Oh. I forgot. I was so happy to meet you after nearly five years" Margarette said.


She suddenly bowed, making Alice startled.


"My name is Margarette Palesnoyt. I am the daughter of the Viscount Palesnoyt, who is also a good friend of the Duke Etkinson."


"Viscount Palesnoyt? The principal of Socerith Academy" Alice said as she remembered.


"You know my father" Margarette asked curiously, her beautiful magenta eyes sparkling.


"I heard from father. He told he is a pride of this dukedom. A commoner turned into a principal of a prestigious academy."


As they started to spend time, Alice realized that even though Margarette looks cheerful and cute, she is actually a cunning person. She never shows her true emotions, and for some reasons Alice felt that Margaretta accompanies her not because she genuinely cares about her.


But she is her only friend she made in this world. And Margaretta did not do anything bad to her. She always joked, and made Alice laugh with her


"I'll call you Maggie. Calling you Margarette every time is really tiring" Alice suggested after they got close.


"Fine Alice. You can call me whatever you want" she said with a smile.


After helping her father for a week Alice really felt tired. Her tired mind easily went into sleep. She closed her eyes, as she thought about her good memories with her only friend once again. She really met befriended a weird girl.


"Alice, Alice, wake up. it's time for lunch" Alice dizzily heard someone calling her.


As she slowly opened her eyes, she saw caramel hair fluttering all around her. She looked up and came across magenta eyes looking at her. A small face with beautifully carved lips came into her sight. 


"Maggie, did I fall asleep?" Alice asked sleepily.


She saw the face nod and the lips parted and a voice "yes" came out.


Alice woke up, sleep was still consuming her mind.


"Outside. Waiting for you to wake up" Margaretta said.


Alice got down. She called for Emma to help her wash her face. As she wiped her face with a towel, she looked at Alicia's childhood friend.


According to the story, Alicia should have only one childhood friend, Cyneric Byrde, the son of the Pope, one of male leads of the game, who later turns against her to protect heroine from the scary villainess. There was never the mention of the name Margaretta. So she just assumed that Alicia has two best friends, and since Margaretta has never been to the capital, she was never mentioned, given the fact, that very little information was mentioned about the villainess.
