Chapter 2: Getting Eaten 2/2

[Poseidon Pov]

'Well since i'm trapped in here mind as well check out my system.'

'System.'

...

'System.'

....

....

'Hello System?'

...

'Oooooooooooooooooooooooh System.'

{SHUT UP!!!} A feminine robotic yelled out inside of my head.

'Sheesh your a bit loud, I don't quite understand why your so mad.'

I swear if the system had a face or body it's eyes would be twitching by now.

....

'So anyway can you show me my status screen, cause you know I got stuff to do.'

{Tsk, fine but after woulds leave me alone.}

Just as the system finishes speaking a white screen appears in front me, the status screen looks quite familiar it kind of resembles the menu from SAO. 'Wait a minute if that's the menu from SAO, THEN THAT MEANS!.'

I scroll down the icons and discover something so incredibly shocking it will forever change the course of history.

'There's a settings option?'

{W-What of course there is an settings option what kind of system did you think I am?!?}

I release a sigh and clinked the settings option which displays a huge wall of options to choose and customise from which I immediately scroll through.

'There finally found it.'

{Let me guess you found how to turn notifications on or off congratulations Einstein}

I ignored the sarcastic jab due to double checking I got the right thing.

'Nah, I just found the mute button just going one step at a time.'

{Ah ok....WAIT WHAT!?!?!}

'And mute.'

I think to my self as I click on the mute icon which silences the systems voice allowing me to enjoy the piece and quite, after clicking muting the system I decided to continue exploring the setting menu making sure I don't get any surprises. Minimap always on, Appraisal auto mode, notifications on ect ect.

'Forceful missions, that's a big nope.'

I think to myself as I disableed that function, a lot of these useless/unnecessary or troublesome functions I disabled so they won't pose much problems in the future.

After spending what seemed to be hours of messing around with the system I finally started to begin my training with my powers nothing too serious but after a few days which I monitored with the system I was able to gather small amounts blood from organs around me, sure it's not much but i'm still only one year old and looks like it will take awhile for the rest of my brothers and sisters to appear.

So I just check on my status after resting for a bit.

{Name: Poseidon}

{Race: High Elemental God}

{Age: 1 Year Old}

{Level: 1}

{HP: 1000/1000}

{Endurance: 80 (Passive defence)}

{Strength: 60}

{Dexterity: 65}

{Agility: 45}

{Magic: 300}

{Magic: Water Magic, Lightning Magic, Earth Magic, Death Magic, Wind Magic, Fire Magic, Ice Magic, Blood Magic}

{Weapon: Trident of Poseidon - 0 Souls Absorbed, 0 Abilities Stolen}

After looking through my status I went through the menu screen again and clicked on Dungeon icon and used its function to age my body temporarily to 16, I click the start button and was immediately to stone castle like room where multiple castle gates lined the throughout the room.

The gates started opening and coming through them were Goblin like creatures who were as tall as average human child, the Goblin's seeing me start to charge at me with their rusted and broken swords and knives.

Seeing them charge I instinctively pull out my Trident from inventory as I do this my appraisal automatically activates and scans the incoming Goblins.

{Name: Goblin *1}

{Race: Goblin}

{Level: 5}

{HP: 10/10}

{Endurance: 4}

{Strength: 7}

{Dexterity: 8}

{Agility: 4}

{Magic: 0}

{Name: Goblin *2}

{Race: Goblin}

{Level: 7}

{HP: 12/12}

{Endurance: 6}

{Strength: 9}

{Dexterity: 10}

{Agility: 6}

{Magic: 0}

Just as I finished appraising, the two Goblins arrive with their rusted knifes and started slashing at me, the attack was slow very slow in my perspective it was as if a snail were crawling across the ground. Without any hesitation I gracefully side stepped to the right with enough speed to make it seem my hair was being blown in the wind.

The two Goblins couldn't keep up with my speed and didn't notice that I was on the other side of them, I clutched the Trident in my left hand and swung it so fast that it was all a blur it didn't look like it even made contact with the Goblins flesh. Time seemed to return and Goblins arrived at the spot where Poseidon previously stood, the two Goblins were about to look around when they noticed that they were falling. The last glimpse they saw was their neck erupting in a shower of blood as their heads hit the floor.
