Mini-Boss Battle

[Poseidon's Pov]

After finishing cleaning up the battle field I noticed a red glow surrounding the Hobgoblin, sensing something was wrong I used my Appraisal on it and what I discovered made my eyes narrow.

{Skills: Battle Rage (All stats are double when fighting an enemy stronger than you), Charge (Mana surrounds the user increasing their speed and strength temporally), Ogre Smash (Mana is infused into the users arms and legs to deliver destructive force), War Cry (Nearby Ally's will have their stats boosted).

{Notice: Due to user not meeting the proper requirements for Super-Evolution, the user will have their life force slowly drained away while having permeant de-buffs as punishment.}

The Hobgoblin opened its mouth releases steam as its body began to bulk up and started to increase in hight up making its hight now 2.7 meters (9 Feet) with two 30 centimetre long horns emerging from its head, the pervious light green skin turned to a dark forest green.

The red glow began to recede and dissipates into the air indicating that the new Ogres transformation is now complete, the Ogre reared back its head and let out a bellowing roar shaking the air around him meanwhile I just stood there allowing my hair to flow in the newly created breeze from the incoming shockwaves.

[Narrative Pov]

"I. Crush. You!" The Ogre shouted as it raised its long sword that now looked like a tooth pick in its hand, Poseidon merely smirked and closed his eyes while relaxing his body.

The Ogre's body was surrounded in yellow aura and immediately sprinted forward at lightning speed that would look like teleporting if any else saw it.

After a few seconds later the Ogre appeared and swung its tiny blade towards Poseidon who dodged it last second by side stepping, tiny strands of his hair was blowing in the wind as he side stepped the attack.

Seeing that its attack didn't work the Ogre span around and lifted the 'long' sword over head before bringing it crashing down, once again Poseidon side steps the attack but not without a cost as he evades the attack the sword manages to cut off a few strands of luscious blond hair that slowly falls to the ground.

Sensing the sudden lost hair and another attack Poseidon's body instinctively moves and uses his golden trident to block the incoming blade, due to the collision the ground cracks beneath them. Poseidon's right foot slides back a few centimetres causing him to open his eyes just a bit before shoving the Ogre back towards the wall behind them.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM

The Ogre emerged from wall and glows yellow once more before disappearing and reappearing next to Poseidon who could see every moment that the Ogre made in slow motion, 'Again?' Poseidon thinks to himself as the Ogres sword slows down in front of him.

Before it even reaches Poseidon the world turns grey for a second before resuming its natural colour, instead of hitting Poseidon like he originally intended the Ogre found himself without his blade and his hand causing pain upon realisation as well as large amounts of black blood spurting from the wound.

The Ogre roars in pain as it holds its dismembered hand stump all the while glaring it's big blood shot eyes at enemy behind him who swiped off the blood from his trident.

"You might not be able to understand me, but I think our little play has come to an end." Poseidon says while spinning his trident.

"Here let me give you, your reward." Poseidon says before slamming the butt of his trident into the floor, the blue gem at the centre of the trident glows before a large blue magical circle appears across the ground surrounding the Ogre.

"Water Magic: Nine Headed Hydra Seal" Poseidon chanted as nine 2 meter draconic snake made of water emerged from the magic circle and surrounded the Ogre, the nine water dragons snakes wrapped themselves around the Ogre with two on each limb and one wrapped around the neck. The water snakes bite into the Ogre and began to slowly pour bits of themselves into the Ogres body.

The bits of the snake that enter the Ogres body begin to move towards the vital organs mixing in with the Ogres blood and slowly taking over the Ogres body, instantly the tiny bits of the water snake start to freeze the Ogres body slowly converting the blood into ice blocking the heart from pumping blood and stopping the brain from receiving blood flow.

Within a few minutes the Ogres skin turned pale white as blood flow stopped the Ogre was frozen to death from the inside out, Poseidon threw his trident and shattered the frozen corpse of the Ogre which then turned into blue particles and absorbed by the trident which automatically returns to Poseidon.
