Chapter 1: The Weirdo

Noor's POV

Today's Sunday, finally the day I was waiting for so long. It's been so long since I've met them. My besties...

I'm not a morning person but I guess I was already waiting for the night to end desperately.

As I heard my alarm ringing, I tumbled from the bed, "Ouchhh" I quickly got up and sped to the washroom. I took a shower, changed into a black top and white leggings. After I got out, I used some skincare products and put some makeup on. I quickly put on my hijab which was white in color.

I rushed to the kitchen after I was all set, while preparing my breakfast I video called my mom who lives in Pakistan, we both talked about our regular stuff and all that. Basically, my relationship with my dad was pretty messed up I don't know how the hell my mom endure him. Well, not gonna talk about him though.

I drove the car to meet my best friend Tania, I stepped out of the car finally when I reached her apartment. She was my best friend for two years, well particularly not only her... Tania, Sania, and I yeah... We all were soulmates ...(lol) (Author: gonna tell u their story next time;))

It was hot sunny day sweat was dripping from my forehead I walked inside the elevator and yeah, It was chill lol. I pressed the elevator button as the elevator doors were about to close a man stuck his foot between the door, the door opened and I saw a man holding bags of groceries, He hurried into the elevator and stood beside me, he was almost limping because of so many bags he was carrying with him. He pressed the elevator button and the door started shutting. He looked like a weirdo because of the bags lol and btw his actions were not matching his style. He was wearing a pair of black glasses, hair was perfectly set to the right side. He was wearing a white tight button shirt and black fitted pants. I could see the shape of the muscled arms and his wide chest. Suddenly a thought ran through my mind Oh no! why the hell I'm checking him out, I should lower my gaze, THIS IS HARRAM. But it was already too late for me to realize. He was looking around and suddenly his gaze was on me, 'OMG, he caught me staring, shit! What I'm gonna do?'

Ok so probably that was weird and awkward for me, I quickly lowered my gaze but I could feel his gaze down at me. It's been more than 15 seconds he didn't stop staring. I was getting uncomfortable so I thought it's better to look at him. I slowly looked up at him as he was tall, obviously, now I'm not gonna spit shit out of my mouth "Hello" I spoke hesitantly without catching his facial expressions properly.

As I caught the glimpse of his facial expression I could say that he already knows me. His eyebrows were already narrowed, after I had opened my mouth his expressions were the same as his mind was trying to process something as something was going inside his head.

It's been 5 seconds he didn't respond back. Okay! Before he could say anything the elevator door opened at my destination in a flash. I'm still not confirmed that why didn't he reply to me back, maybe if the elevator didn't reach my destination, would he had spoken something? Or Not? Okay, I get it he is a weirdo...

I walked to her apartment, DING...

She opened the door at the first bell. "Taniaaa! How are you?"

We hugged each other frantically "Noor!! It's so good to see you! Come in"

She took me to her living room, we talked a lot, laughed a lot, played games a lot.

We didn't realize it was already 5:00 pm. Tania's fiance called her and she left the room. Well I plunged on the couch, looked for the remote, and switched on the TV, I flicked through the channels, and nothing caught my attention. It's been 30 minutes since she didn't come back.

All of a sudden, Tania entered the living room and started jumping of joy. I was like- what the hell is going on! "Tania, shuck face babe what happened? You know what... you're acting crazy. Duh"

She didn't reply for 5 sec. Okay well, she was in her perfect senses now. She eagerly told me "oohh girlll! Sania is cominggg wooh... and we both planned to go out in a nearby carnival... hurrah!!!"

"What theeeee helllll!!!!!!!!" I uncontrollably yelled back "No! Wait! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Once again after a long time, we will be together, that's AWESOME!"

"Now get your ass out, girl!"

"Hell! You ruined my excitement" I rolled my eyes

The carnival was at the distance of 30min but it feels like 2hrs to me. I was super elated for visiting the carnival and our get together.

After the long drive of 30 minutes, we finally arrived at our destination -CARNIVAL. OMG, The carnival amused me. I was amazed and couldn't control it automatically came out from my mouth "WOW! Just WOW!!"

Tania and I hopped out of the car, Tania locked the doors and we both ambled in the carnival. Everything was quite exciting... HELL! If I would be a kid then probably I would skip to the roller coaster hehehe. But well sad life I can't take any ride because it's all childish and I'm a GROWNUP WOMEN...I examine each and everything GOSH!!

Unexpectedly Tania opened her mouth "Stop fanaticizing!!! I'm feeling left out, you choose your thoughts over me. Ok, that's fine, Sad Life..."

"Such a DRAMA QUEEN! Dumbass!"

"Huh! Whatever! Let's search Sania"

We went to the fast-food side 'cause we both know how foodie she is lol. We examine the whole area. All of a sudden I caught the glimpse of that man ... He was wearing a black coat with a shirt and black pants which made his look more attractive than the last ones. Omg... that Weirdo!! He is the one, I met on my way to Tania's apartment at the elevator.

OMG
