Becoming the Empress' Disciple

"NOPE."

This is the first time I've ever been kicked out, did i say something rude? should I apologize? oh no...what if I hurt her feelings?! Mari was starting to tremble and bite her fingernails in worry, I handed her a small candy and patted her head. "Mari, everything is going to be alright, don't worry. Besides, we can meet during lunch or recess." I smiled, that's not something I'm sure about though... I just want her to stop with the waterworks!!!

"Hehehe..." Mari chuckled, a friend...She smiled as she looked at the cherry blossoms slowly twirling and falling on the ground blowed back and forth, I don't have much time left...I have to get stronger.

"Mari? What's wrong? Let's go!" I beamed grabbing her hand in excitement, everything went so slowly as time went by.

"Oof!" I felt a small bump to my nose, who the heck is..? I looked up and found myself with an incredibly beautiful woman, She had white hair and purple crystal-like eyes, she kind of reminds me of mama. Her frame is so thin and fragile. She looks like a twig that would break any time.

I bowed and apologized, "Child, I am Li Jingyi, I reside within the academy. May I speak with you in private?" She said her hands in front of her abdomen like a prim and proper lady. I was surprised but nodded, "sure."

We walked past the cherry blossoms as she walked in silence, what did she call me out for? She couldn't have noticed anything off. But by the way she was talking she couldn't have been a professor in the academy, she could be staff, but then again, her clothes are all proper and somewhat fancy. She knows something. I narrowed my eyes at her and paid extra close attention.

"Child, Tell me, How did you get into the academy?" She asked out of the blue, which I responded with an innocent smile, "Oh! Well, I got in due to being one of the most eligible to attend the academy in my village," I couldn't help but feel like she knew something, Does she really know something? Or is she acting like that to get the truth out of me? I have to find out. I smirked and went on.

"My name is Yu Yan," My angelic face was beaming brightly but yet, she still remained unaffected. come on, can't you at least act as if I AM CUTE???! She sighed, W-what was that heavy sigh for?!

"Then...What is your spirit weapon?" She interrogated me and to be honest, it was starting to get annoying. I'm just gonna answer all her questions with all due honesty. The acting is tiring.

"Well...It's a staff with a snaked head eating a purple orb. It's nothing special."

"And your Internal Energy?"

"I have complete Spirit (Internal) Energy." I heavily sighed, even if the background was nice with pink cherry blossoms and everything, it couldn't make up for the terribly silent and awkward atmosphere. "Miss, Why did you call me out?" I asked skipping the formailites and further questions.

"My, you're impatient. Well, I'm sure you have a second one." She smiled poking my nose with her index finger like a mother bird would with it's child.

"?"

"A second Spirit Weapon."

"Miss, What do you mean? A weakling like me couldn't have possibly have gotten in even if i had a second one---"

I was abruptly touched within a second in my wrist, She inspected it carefully twisting and turning it. We were nowhere in the sight of the other students since everyone else had already gone in.

"Yes, You have a second one. When a spirit weapon is in one arm, you can feel the internal energy running through your veins almost as if were blood, although it's color is almost like that of the owner's own energy or Spirit energy." She explained, "Since you don't know or weren't taught how to hide it, it's obvious you have a second one. Although, not just anyone can see right through this." She said as she kept looking me up and down like an object.

"But then wouldn't have I already been discovered by now?"

"LIke I said, not just about anybody can see these signs because not just anyone can know about this type of information, follow me," She ordered, she talks way too fast. But it was understandable, she at least said it in a language I could understand.

As I walked behind her steadily, I sighed, it was confusing how she knew about all this. I know Mama said not to tell anyone, but what if I''m found out? What if she exposes me to the school? What if Mama runs away and gets sick and dies when I get back home because I told one person?! WHAT IF THE SCHOOL SENDS ASSASSINS TO GET RID OF ME??!?!!!

I jsut have to play her for now....I don't know what her plan is but I'm going to make sure to unveil it and dest--

"Here we are. This is my office," She rushed in, everything was disorderly and stacked up, this is her office? why is there a toilet and a bed here too??? HOW IS THIS AN OFFICE???!

"I know that it looks like a small house from your point of view and I'm sorry..."

"But DEAL WITH IT." and yes, she said that with a somewhat angry kind of smile.

"So first of all, I'd like you to show me your second weapon, So that I know how to make it advance in ranks and how to deal with both of them so they don't overlap with your soul," She spoke as she sat down at her desk in a serious posture. I gulped and summoned my second spirit weapon, My Sword. She was so shocked she was almost pushed aback, She even ran closer and examined every part of it.

"NO WAY! THIS IS THE LEGENDARY TIAN NIANG*!" Her eyes were glimmering with joy as I looked at her in disgust, she really has a way of making people feel disgusted...by a lot.

"Ahem! What's your Mama's name?" She asked me clearing her throat and she seemed somewhat excited to my answer, I smiled and answered, "Yu Yuan,"

"!!!"

"?"

"Child, I'm sure your Mama has told you this already but, Never show your second Spirit weapon to anybody, and I mean NOBODY. Only if you are in a danger that means death, you cannot, I repeat, You CANNOT USE THIS." She pointed out seriously, If anyone were to find out that the daughter of the Tian Niang Sect was out and running and had 2 Spirit Weapons it will only wreak chaos. Especially if 'SHE' finds out.

"Well then let's start your training! I have some uniform for you to use rather than that cheap one," She had brought a clean and fancy 1st class uniform and handed it to me. Did she just insult my mama's sewing skills?

"huh? What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Well then I hope to see you here everyday!" She shouted in excitement. I can't wait to see her again, she reminds me so much of Yu Luo, they're both so cute sometimes!
