CHAPTER 2

She walks down the stairs majestically as though she was never coming down.

It was around 7:30pm at dusk. "There she is, my Princess." Mr. Valiente said as he grins.

"Oh Daddy, you make me blush." She said full of embarrassment.

"Where to? You look stunning it's hard to ignore." Mr. Valiente said.

"I want to go out for a drink Dad." Briefly stopped and Said "Possibly find a very rich good looking young man on the way." She said in order to sway him.

"Hmm. Don't forget dear. You are only allowed to be with a wealthy man or a man from a wealthy family, not possible than that." Mr Valiente said.

"Ay, Father, I get it. What was the point of my being, if I can't get myself a decent guy. It would be like a beautiful flower that can't attract any bees."

"Good. My daughter, you are as smart as your mother was, simply gorgeous." Mr. Valiente.

"Again with the praises. Oh, I'm filled to the brim by pure love. I feel so elegant now. She said.

"Now begone with you, be sure to be back before curfew." Mr. Valiente said.

"OK Father." she said as she walks away.

At the downtown area of the city, a dilapidated building barely on it last legs were A woman and man, the woman held a basket while the other seem to be grazing a huge area of land where weed turned their sanctuary.

"Son. I know we leaved a relatively hard life. We didn't enrol you in any school whatsover, that's why the Elric brothers had the chances to exploit you. We are deeply sorry." She said with a sad impression. I looked at her, I felt bad for her. I mean she has lived before me and has faced hardships that not everyone could survive, though here she was, apologizing to me. Was it the sense of motherliness that pushed her? or What?.

"Mom, I told you time and time again. I do not hold you and father guilty for anything. The ones to be blamed are those rich fellas. So nothing personal." I said.

She sighed and said "If you are done, come have wash up. It's getting late."

"OK Ma." I said and kept on grazing.

After a relatively long time when the sun has set. I walked back inside only to find my mother contemplating.

"Oh God I forgot, earlier this morning I wanted to send you on an errand. Can you go and buy an ingredient for me. It's for supper." She said.

"Let me quickly wash up."

"OK, please make it snappy." She said.

I hurriedly took a shower and then wore a shirt I really liked. She gave me the money and I left for errand.

While walking to the grocery store. A Car driving at full speed without any care of the traffic regulations "Whooshed" passed me and splashed mud on me. It rained. I yelled in annoyance as the Car zoomed off.

Usually when someone splash mud on you. They zoom off but this time, it was different. The Car actually came back. I was waiting for the worst scenario in my life when a very beautiful poked out her head from the window of the Car.

"Next time, you see are car run like that, you move from the way, you moron." Olympia said. Her voice sounded like melody to my ears. Even though she was being rude. I quickly got over my trance.

"This was my favorite shirt for God sake. Why are rich people so rude, first of all you splashed mud on me and now you are blaming me for your recklessness. This is too much." I said holding my shirt.

"It's getting late. I can't waste my time on someone like yourself. I came back to warn you, not for you to lecture me." She said as she drove off.

I stood there for a while angry and happy at the same time before I left for the grocery store which was still far from where I was. "I wish I had a ride." I said to myself.

Olympia got to the club she was so excited for. There she went straight to the bartender and asked for a drink. Little did Olympia know, that her drink was spiked, it had an intoxicant in it (one that weakens people). After taking so sips she started talking to herself. "That guy I met. He looked really cute. I wish I hadn't treated him like that." She said to herself. A man already lurking from the shadows took her out of the club. He picked out a phone from his pocket and contacted someone.

"Boss, I got her. I will bring her now." He said

"Good." A man with a very cheeky but fancy voice said.

Olympia was struggling to release herself from his manly grip but failed due to the intoxicant. Luckily for Olympia, Trevor was coming back from the grocery errand.

If there was anything Trevor disliked, it was forcing a woman to do things she didn't want.

"Hey, let her go. With all indications, she is trying to push you away." Trevor said.

"Leave us be. She's my girlfriend, she does this sometimes when she's drunk." He said.

"Oh. Ok." Trevor said. He barely walked a step when she yelled "Young man, don't go please save me." Olympia said. Trevor looked at the man.

"I'm guessing your girlfriend screams like this too." Trevor said and rushed to the man punching and then taking Olympia away. The man runaway seeing how strong Trevor was.

"I don't know your house and you are not in a condition to tell me. I will just take you to the nearest hotel." Trevor said.

Trevor took Olympia to a Hotel and lodged. He kept her on the bed. He turned to leave but she held onto his shirt.

"I'm not that kind of man." Trevor said as he shook her hands off him then walked away.
