Chapter 24. Affair Plan

Kenanga stood between the walls that separated her from Arjoona Harristian and Keith Barnett as they spoke. She heard everything throughout Keith and Arjoona's conversation about Arjoona's marriage. After he left, Kenanga smiled faintly and turned her face to see Arjoona's figure walking out of the office. Keith also shortly went afterward to Claire's room.

Kenanga was still smiling and already knew what to do to take this good opportunity.

"This is a good chance for me. I can't waste this shot," Kenanga muttered to herself.

Kenanga took her cellphone and tried to contact Louis to find out where the man was.

Meanwhile, Arjoona returned to his room then threw his map design on the table with an angry face.

"Nothing can stop me from getting married, except Gerald Winthrop and The God," muttered Arjoona to himself with a hardened jaw. Now he understood why Gerald forced him to marry Claire soon. Gerald's concern was quite reasonable. Keith could be an enemy inside the blanket. He is good at manipulating other people, and Arjoona has a bad feeling about him.

In three days, he will get married, so Arjoona plans to finish all the work before that day comes. He took the leave request sheet and fill it out then submit it to the HR department.

"I heard you are taking leave, huh?" asked David as soon as he entered Arjoona's office. Arjoona looked back and smiled.

"Yes, only one day," David frowned.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?" Arjoona snorted and shook his head

"Nothing, I just have a little work with Gentala, so I take one day of my annual leave to finish them." David nodded slowly.

"Bro, can I ask your opinion?" David asked again and immediately sat in the chair in front of Arjoona's desk. Arjoona nodded.

"What if I confessed to Tiara about my feeling, would she accept it or not?" Arjoona widened his eyes, and then he sat in front of David.

"Are you sure you want to tell her?" David nodded.

"Then all you need is a perfect plan. How about taking her to a romatic candlelight dinner in a fine restaurant?" David nodded and thought about it.

"I thought so too, but how do I invite her?" Arjoona frowned.

"You can just go with it." David grimaced and shook his head softly.

"Well, you can see that she always run off when she saw me, then how do I ask about it?" Arjoona sighed heavily. He thought for a moment what to do.

"What if you just send a message through her friend?" David squinted his eyes. Arjoona raised an eyebrow at David, who looked unsure.

"What if you are the messenger," said David, encouraging Arjoona instead. Joona was dumbfounded and opened his mouth. David promptly pulled Joona's chin up so that his mouth was closed.

"Don't opened your mouth for too long or the flies could nest in," said David sarcastically.

"Couldn't y'just..." Arjoona half pouted

"if it's not you, who else can help me?" David cut him. Arjoona let out his loud breath. He was silent for a moment while David waited for his response.

"Fine, I'll do it!" David clapped his hands excitedly. And David boldly pinched Arjoona's cheeks.

"You are the cutest!" Arjoona was frowning while David kept pinching his adorable cheek.

WINTHROP ROOM CEO

Keith Barnett continues to persuade Claire in subtle ways to turn down her marriage to Arjoona. And Claire, who listened to her stepfather, began to be consumed by all his words.

"I know Lou loves you, so I don't think it's wrong when he panicked and almost did something like that to you," said Keith responding to his stepdaughter's complaint about Louis, who almost broke his promise.

"But I feel uncomfortable, Papa, Lou already promised that we wouldn't intercourse after we get married." Keith smiled.

"Yes, but that's for you, Lou is a normal man. He must have a sexual need," Claire frowned.

"Don't let him look for it out there, Claire, you won't like it later," added Keith provoking Claire. Claire hesitated and thought about it while Keith smiled slyly. He knows his stepdaughter will always listen to him.

"I'll tell you what, how about the two of you talk?" Keith suggested, and Claire, who was holding both hands, turned to her stepfather. Soon she nodded.

"Solve your problems both of you, and I think you don't need to break up." Claire still looked at Keith, trying to figure out what he meant.

"You're married to a man you don't love, you don't want to be with him forever, do you?" Claire seemed to think.

"if I were you, I would also keep my lover," Claire frowned again.

"You mean, we had an affair?" Keith raised his eyebrows

"Whatever you want to call it, the important thing is you are still in relationship. After a while, that stupid engineer will also give up. Indeed, he can stand being cheated on by his wife continuously." Claire did not say yes or deny. She is still silent and thinking. Meanwhile, Keith, who saw the doubt in Claire's eyes, felt even more than his plan was starting to go well.

WINTHROP ELECTRONIC FACTORY ADMINISTRATION ROOM

"I want to talk to you," said Arjoona to Mutiara, who was sweet smiling when she saw Arjoona approaching her in the evening about to go home. She nodded firmly.

"Um, there is a dinner invitation for you. You will come, right?" Tiara's eyes widened and sparkled. She smiled sweetly, and Arjoona replied with a faint smile that was very adorable.

"Of course, where do we want to eat?" asked Tiara, getting spoiled. Arjoona frowned, but he was still smiling.

"This is the address. You can come tonight at 7 o'clock." Tiara, who received the invitation to the dinner location, accepted it with a happy heart. She didn't stop smiling and nodded in agreement.

"So, you need to go home now and get ready, come straight to the place, okay, there's a surprise for you." Arjoona was still smiling as he walked away. Tiara could only be fangirling at Arjoona, who walked away from her.
