Chapter 38. I Am a Jealousy Guy

"I think you trust Claire too much,"

"Where is she now!" asked Joona in an angry tone.

Arjoona got out of the mansion and got into his car. He came dressed in casual, only a t-shirt with a shirt over and sweatpants. He rushed to the address given by Kenanga.

As soon as he arrived at the French restaurant, he quickly entered and was stopped by the reservation clerk because the attire was informal.

"Sorry sir, do you have a reservation?" Arjoona snorted.

"Yes, I'm with Claire Winthrop," replied Joona, glaring at the employee. The servant could not do anything because Claire Winthrop was indeed inside. Arjoona circled his gaze until he found his wife with another man, none other than Louis Pradipta.

Arjoona quickly walked to their table, pulled out an empty chair next from another table, and then sat between Claire and Louis. Claire, who was shocked to see Joona suddenly appeared, widened her eyes.

"What are we going to eat?" asked Joona sarcastically in an angry tone. Louis, who was furious, was about to grab Joona by the collar.

"This is a fancy restaurant, I don't think you want to lose your reputation because you beat the husband of the woman you were having dinner with, don't you?" threatened Joona with a red face. Louis couldn't make a fuss, or everyone would see them.

"Don't mess around with me, Arjoona, I can ruin your life." Louis warned back. Arjoona grinned sarcastically.

"You should know yourself, Claire has already married me. You're just stupid being her paramour."

"Arjoona ..." scolded Claire, half screaming. Arjoona then turned his gaze to Claire.

"Act as a wife, Claire. And do not cheat behind me!" growled Arjoona seeing Claire near.

"Now go home with me or I'll embarrass you two because of this affair," he added, still looking at Claire. He now turned to Louis.

"This is the last time. If there's another incident. I'm going to beat you up. And don't think I don't cope it." Arjoona threatened Louis, who could only grip his fists. Arjoona directly pulled Claire's hand to leave the table. He half dragged his wife out of the fancy restaurant. Arriving near the lobby's front parking lot, Claire pulled her hand away from Arjoona's grip.

"You are nothing to me, Arjoona, why are you taking me out?" Arjoona approached Claire to intimidate her with his height and dominance.

"You think I'm a statue! I'm waiting for you at home while you were here with another man," snapped Arjoona irritably. His jealousy was evident, and it made Claire frown.

"It's none of your business who I am here with."

"I'm your husband, Claire!" Claire snorted.

"But you are just a contract husband, we are going to divorce!"

"Then you can hold back until we get divorce paper, can't you?" Claire gasped in silence. Her eyes began to tear up.

"Why? You can't help yourself! Do you think he loves you?" Joona hardened his sentence even more. He was outraged.

"If he really loves you, he will be waiting for you. It's not like this, you just broke your grandfather's trust and your excellent family's name." Claire was still silent and gasped to hear Arjoona keep telling all the facts. Arjoona let out some hard breaths and put his hands on the waist.

"You don't know anything," replied Claire after a long pause.

"I'm not a blind man, Claire. Why can't you leave him? If you really love him and he loves you back, you guys will get together again after we divorce." Claire shook her head, and her tears began to fall.

"It's not that!" replied Claire.

"Then what?" said Joona quickly.

"Are you afraid? What are you afraid of, scared that he will leave you or that you won't have anyone else after the divorce!" Arjoona half yelled angrily. The annoyed Arjoona promptly turned around. He was really holding back his anger. Claire burst into tears as soon as Arjoona turned around.

Joona did not understand his feelings for Claire. He was so angry seeing her did not want to let go of her boyfriend. And something happened behind Joona's gasping breath-holding anger. Claire hugged his waist from behind while crying. And Arjoona just caught his breath, letting Claire hug and sobbing on his back.

Meanwhile, Louis came out of the restaurant, stopped his steps as soon as he found Claire hugging Arjoona from behind. Arjoona was still standing and did nothing. Louis looked at them in such a position with a dilemma.

He hold his fists, and his eyes seemed to cry. Louis clenched his jaw and looked away. He then walked in the opposite direction and got into his car. Louis leaned his forehead on the steering wheel and thought.

"Do I have to wait for someone who is not for me anymore?" he muttered softly.

Arjoona turned around after Claire's crying fell. He wiped the remaining tears with his index finger.

"Let's go home, you need some rest," said Joona in a low tone, not wanting to continue their fight. Claire just looked down and followed Joona to get into his car. Arjoona, who had calmed down, got into the car and started the engine. He walked out of the parking lot without talking until he arrived at Winthrop's mansion.

Claire got out of Joona's car as soon as the car stopped. Arjoona just stared at Claire's back, going through the lobby to inside. He still hadn't gotten out of his car and closed his eyes several times.

"What's wrong with me, why did I feel so mad?" he muttered as he got out of his car and got inside. Claire had already entered her room, and Arjoona was doing the same.

Arjoona continued to rub his fingers on his side forehead, trying to find answers to all of his actions tonight. Why should he be outraged? Is it just because he's a husband? Does a contract marriage husband have no right to be angry? The questions keep popping up in his mind.

Meanwhile, Claire was just lying on the bed, unable to sleep at all. Arjoona's words kept ringing in his mind. Did Louis really love her? Was he going to wait for Claire that long? Suddenly Arjoona's kiss in her room a few weeks ago reverted to Claire's mind. Unconsciously she touched her own lips and closed her eyes. Half absentmindedly, she gasped when there was a knock on her bedroom door. Claire frowned and stood about to open the door.

Arjoona stood in front of Claire's bedroom door, carrying a glass of warm milk. While she looked at Joona with her innocent gaze. Claire wore cute babydoll pajamas and loosed her hair without any makeup. Joona smiled sweetly and walked towards.

"I'm sorry about earlier, I shouldn't be angry to you." Joona said softly. For a moment, Claire seemed stunned by the annoying man she hated who stood in front of her. Arjoona only wore oversized shirts with oversized 7/8 pants. His hair just falls out, looks charming and cute. Claire didn't answer, and Arjoona handed the glass of milk to her.

"As an apology and so you can sleep well," said Joona with a smile. Claire smiled back and took the warm milk.

"Good night, Claire ..." said Arjoona softly and slowly left.

"Good night, Joona..." replied Claire with the same gentle tone. Arjoona was still smiling and turned back into his room. Claire closed the bedroom door and stood leaning against the door. He grasped the glass before smiling shyly and sipping the milk slowly. While Arjoona was doing the same, he entered and leaned his back against the door. Arjoona smiled softly and leaned his head back and enjoyed the joy that slowly entered the heart.
