The seventh prince, Prince Yi was fighting against time as they are trying to find evidence of the enemy trying to assassinate the Emperor. However, recently most of his messenger never reached their destination and this has caused them a huge loss. This was why he needed someone who knew the Capital City's streets and shortcuts to help him. 

When Prince Yi found out his runner's identity, he was delighted! But once Yu Feng found out the identity of the man she was working for, she tried to escape.

The Story of Yu Feng

The Emperor's expression turned dark as he listened to Yu Feng's story.

He had not expected that her life would be so difficult.

Yu Chen had brought her to Jing City and he died in misery. After Yu Chen had passed away, this girl had run from Jing City on her own to Capital City just to look for her mother.

How old was she when she had come to Capital City on her own?

Any children her age would not be able to survive that long journey. She could have died if she ran into a wild animal or a bad person! Fortunately, she had arrived in Capital City safely.

Because of her quick mind, she knew how to sneak into the city through the drainage system.

However, that does not make the Emperor happy. He knew how dangerous it was for Yu Feng. If the water rise, then she could be swept away with the current and drowned.

Her life did not get that easier afterward.

Yu Feng's Story
