The Imperial Palace, the Crown Prince's Eastern Palace.

The situation in the city, especially around the West Market had turned chaotic. However, the situation around the Imperial Palace was very different.

The Crown Prince sat in his study as he looked out the window to the bamboo garden outside his room. The gentle wind blew and the rustling of the leaves could be heard. The weather was hot but the Crown Prince does not seem as if he was affected by it.

In fact, at this time, the Crown Prince was enjoying the tea in his study as he waited for the result to be reported soon.

He could almost imagine both the Grand Tutor and Minister Xu Guang entered his room and congratulate him as the next Emperor of Lantian.

Just the thought of it made the smile on his face turned brighter.
