"Did you talk with Jacob about what happened yesterday?" Asked Lauren as she took a bite of her apple.

"No, I didn't, I thought about it but then I felt that he needed some time alone," I said as I added some syrup to my pancakes.

She looked at me with a raised brow saying, "He needed some time alone, or were you scared of him?"

I let out a breath as I replied, "Maye both? I don't know, he was so angry I didn't want him to shout at me too, I was just precautions."

"I doubt he would've said anything to make you feel sad," she said with a reassuring smile trying to make me feel better about that situation.

"Don't try to trick me, you were there yesterday, I know you felt his anger, and I'm sure you were terrified of him like me as well," I said as I cut a piece of my pancake lifting it to my mouth to eat it.

Lauren went quiet as she realized that what I said was true, after a lot of thinking she looked at me, "But you're his mate Mel," she said.
