"Home sweet home!" chanted Tracy as she followed me into the house.

"Never seen her this happy to get into a house before," said Kimi before shutting the door. "And how is this your home Tracy, don't forget we're here until your cousin turns 18, and then we get back to our pack."

Tracy looked at her mother with no reply and with a strange feeling in her eyes, but before I could detect what it was, she turned around and got upstairs.

"Let me help you up to your room," I said as I led Kimi up the stairs. Our house had two guest bedrooms, mine and my parents. I felt like it was for the best if I kept my parents' old bedroom locked, it didn't feel appropriate to have someone sleep there. "Thank you so much Aunt Kimi for coming here with us," I said as we entered the room, "I really appreciate it."
